Criers can be seen running through Abresi, Salvus, and Auvergne. They are all shouting the same thing. As you witness them you can see the Valois colors on their attire, the house banner being held by small boys behind them. As you get closer you begin to hear what they’re saying.

 

“Following the abdication of Marcel Valois and Chrestienne Valois as Count and former Countess of Auvergne Rose Valois and her husband Bran Volsung have been named successors, becoming the new Count and Countess of Auvergne. All Auvergnian nobles are now subject to the rule of Countess Rose Valois and Count Bran Volsung. Present yourself to them at your earliest convenience to swear fealty.

Rose watches as the heralds run about the town and the County while she picks grapes from the vineyard. A pleased smile forms on her features. A few minutes later, as she hears the cries quieting with the growing distance of the criers from her, she lets out a sigh. She walks over to the winery carrying a basket of grapes, waiting to share the news with her children.
