Hugo sits at his desk with a large piece of parchment and ink and quill in front of him. After pondering in thought for a few moments, he begins jotting neatly. After an hour or so, Hugo waddles down to the town square, parchment in hand, and begins nailing the poster to the noticeboard. It reads:

The B.O.A.

Burrow Owners' Association

Greetings, Halflings and all individuals that call Lenfarthing their home! My name is Hugo Proudfoot. Who am I? I'm just a simple Halfling, perhaps like you, the one reading this poster right now. After lots of thought, I've decided to speak with Elder Milo, and together we have formed the B.O.A., or Burrow Owners' Association.

Who are we?

We are residents of Lenfarthing who try to keep Lenfarthing in its best possible condition, whether it be big jobs like fixing or redoing burrows, or even just sweeping the streets!

What do we do?

It is our job to preserve the natural beauty of Lenfarthing and keep it looking as best as it possibly can.

Why has this association been formed?

It is my misfortune to say that recently, Lenfarthing has fallen ill to some sorts of ugliness, whether it be the interiors and/or exteriors of some burrows, tents that have been taken by weather conditions, or even just the misplacement of some trees or gardens. Together, we will root out the ugliness and restore Lenfarthing to its best possible state!

What power does the B.O.A. have?

The B.O.A. cannot evict owners of burrows without the permission of Elders, however they may fix up any burrow, garden, etc. that is considered to be a sore to the eye. How do you know if you've been marked by the B.O.A.? The B.O.A. leaves a dab of red paint outside the burrow that will be fixed as a notice beforehand. If your home has been marked by the B.O.A., simply talk to any current member of the association to receive all the information about why your home has been marked. We will leave your home untouched and allow you to fix it yourself!

How can I join the Burrow Owners' Association?

Speak with Elder Milo or myself, Hugo Proudfoot. We are recruiting as many residents as we can right now to efficiently restore Lenfarthing. (( A forum PM, /t in-game or even just talking to us in RP will work perfectly. ))
