In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: David Campos
Current Age: 21
Sub-race (if any): Human
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): At a young age David Campos was born in the city of Arethor . David had brown hair, was average height, and had somewhat dark skin. He was an only child with his mother and father. David often went with his mother on trips to the market. His father was a blacksmith who made swords very often for travelers who wished to defend themselves on their long journies. Because of this David and his family were considered more of middle-class citizens. When his father would smelt swords David often stood by his side observing the sharp blades as his father smithed them. While David watched his father smith swords he grew a great interest in them. He often asked his father if he could make a blade for of him.. Of course, his father would laugh and pat him on the head telling him he could have one when he was older. This angered David as he didn't know how old he meant as his father never gave him a specific age. All he could do was continue watching his father do his job, until the day would finally come.

On David's sixth birthday his father surprised him early in the morning by waking him and bringing him down to his work area. Once he reached his work table he stopped and turn to stare at his son for what seemed like hours until the words David had been waiting for since he was young came out of his father's mouth, it was time. Excited and filled with joy, David set out on the first task his father assigned him with his mother. He had to purchase a type of metal with the money his father had given him. unfortunately when he arrived he found that all he could afford was a very cheap type of steel. As weak as it was, it was better then nothing. So David purchased the steel reluctantly and finished buying the rest of the supplies with his mother. After they finished they returned home where his father awaited them. David showed him the steel he had purchased and explained it was all he could afford. His father just smiled and told him to get ready for the much more difficult part.

After a long night of sweat and burns David finished his sword under his father's supervision. It was beautiful to David, and it was all his. His father gave him a holster to keep his sword in. And after that day he continued to carry his sword on his back everywhere he went. But whenever he went with his mother to the market she made him wear a sack over it so none of the city guards wouldn't seem suspisicous. But it wasn't until one day at the market did David actually have to draw his sword. A day that he will never forget. It was just another day at the market with his mother. They had just finished purchasing some fruits and were on their way home. They were walking in a empty city alley when out of nowhere a bandit came running at them with a dagger. His mother was screaming and David remained still, afraid and scared. But his head pounded, he knew what he could do. He knew he could protect his mother. As if it was just a flash of light, his hand reached for his sword and drew it then lunged him forward as if the sword had a mind of its own, but all David could remember was a blinding light. And then as the flash of light cleared he found blood on his sword and the bandit leaping away, severely injured in his stomach where the blade pierced. As soon as the Bandit turned the corner his mother grabbed David's hand and they ran home while David still had the blood of the bandit on his on his blade.

When David and his mother returned home, David returned to his room where he washed up and cleansed his blade. His mother explained to her husband what had happened and how David injured the bandit. While they discussed what had happened, David was up in his room with his sword. He realized something, he had made a mark on that bandit. A mark that the bandit would never forget. A mark that would make the bandit think twice about ever assaulting someone again. He protected the ones he loved, but he wanted to learn more to ensure next time if he was not lucky he would be ready. When David turned ten he and his parents were forced to flee their home of Asulon along with the many other residents that lived there due to a series of severe natural disasters. It was hard to leave his home at such a young age but he understood it was for the best and for the protection of his family. Because of his family being middle-class they were able to leave on the second ship to their new home known as Elysium.

A few weeks after they reached the new land they called home, they slowly but shortly learned to adapt. David and his family lived in New Arethor. The landscape was ruled by creatures that David heard were called Ghasts and and Zombie Pigmen. This talk always kept him on the alert for any signs of a possible attack. His mother and father always told David to relax but he could never not live in fear of this new world. The best thing David remembers from his time on Elysium were eggs. Eggs everyday for breakfast. There were enormous flocks of chicken on the land which became their main food source. Which is why they mainly ate eggs most of the time. Overtime David grew tired of eggs, he had lost his good taste in eggs after eating them so much. But he rather have something to eat over nothing. David would always want to go hunt for the Ghasts and Zombie Pigmen but his father and mother always refused saying it was too dangerous and he was too young. He grew upset but he couldn't do anything until he grew older, all he could do was enjoy his time at their new home.

Three years later when David turned thirteen there had been excitement of a new world discovered. Much larger and safer then Elysium. This new world was known as Anthos. His parents were were excited to finally leave Elsyium in which they called the cursed land for their hatred of it and quickly gathered everything they could and dragged David to the docks where the ships were prepared to transport all the people on Elsyium to Anthos. They were able to board the sixth ship and sail to the new world. Once they docked they set out for Salvus where they settled down and began their new life. For five years David lived peacefully in Salvus. When he turned eighteen David became the apprentice of one of his father's good customers. He studied and practiced as an apprentice and developed new skills with his sword over the next three years. By his twenty-first birthday his apprenticeship had ended and he thanked his master for the many things he had taught him. He then confronted his parents and told them that he would be setting out on a journey to find his place in the world and use his new skills for something useful and improve upon them. He hoped to fight for the Holy Oren Empire as a soldier to protect his loved ones and his nation. After a few goodbyes he took his belongings and set off on is journey with the whole world ahead of him.

Ambitions for the Future: David hopes to enlist in a military organization of the Holy Oren Empire. With this he plans to put his sword and headstrong attitude towards a good use to protect his loved ones and his nation.
Personality: David is very physically strong and does not focus on the disadvantages they have when in battle. He is rather positive when it comes to fierce bloodshed even with the odds stacked against him. Even with his pugnacious attitude David still does his best to protect the ones that are most important to him.
Skills: David is very skilled with a sword. He never favored the bow as he considered it cowardly to attack from a distance rather then engaging the foe head on.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: David knows that he must act before it is too late. He considered confronting the clothed figure himself but he had no idea what power the unknown foe possessed. Fear with worst, David cuffed his hands together over his mouth and hollered as loud as he could. "Guards! Stop that man he is up to no good!" David finished and took a breath to refresh his lungs. The guards quickly chased after the clothed figure and later catch him. It turned out he was a simple thief hoping to steal anything he could get his hands on in the palace. David was rewarded with a basket of fruit to feed him on his travels.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron long sword, how do you react?

Answer: David knew what he had to do when he saw the old man trying to defend himself. With haste he drew his Iron long sword and marched forward revealing himself from behind a tree trunk. "You cowards. Attacking a simple old man who can hardly defend himself! Ye have no honor." He then raised his sword and adjusted himself into a defensive stance as one of the bandits ran at him with his iron sword. Both of their swords met with a loud clash, and their eyes looking directly into each other. "You weak fool, I shall not let ye bully a poor old elder because ye desire power over others!" With this the bandit drew back and swung his sword at David's leg. He quickly took a fast step backwards, but he was unable to avoid the blow entirely, the sword had managed to pierce his weak leather armor leaving a minor cut on his leg. David seeing this as an opportunity raised his unharmed leg to step down on the bandit's hands where he held onto his sword hilt just after the bandit had finished swinging the blade at him. David forced his hands to the ground as the bandit would not release his grip on the sword and then used his second leg to deliver a devastating kick towards the bandit's jaw, forcing him backwards and releasing his sword. Seeing that he had no weapon now and he had a possibly broken jaw the bandit ran off into the forest. The second bandit who stood in fear turned and followed his companion, not wanting to suffer the same fate as he did. After they had run off David approached the weak old man and assisted him in standing. The old man thanked David and offered some mina he was planning to use to buy food from the market before the bandits attacked him. But David refused as he knew the old man needed it more, and he went on his way.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: Seeing that the man was selling just about anything for no specific price, David jumped at the idea. First he picked out a new sack to carry his belongings in. The merchant wondered why he needed one and David explained that his old one had ripped due to tripping down a steep hill while he was traveling. They both laughed as he told the story and began to go into deeper conversation. The merchant talked of how he had traveled all over Anthos selling his goods. Because of his constant traveling he had learned how to use a basic dagger to defend himself if some bandits were to ever ambush him and attempt to steal his goods. They both enjoyed talking of their adventures, the merchant was happy to have someone converse with because when he sold goods no one really cared for his personal life. Only for the items he was selling. So in return for cheering him up the merchant allowed David to choose one free item. He chose a bucket for his one item so he could carry water while he traveled. Afterwards David bought some bandages made out of wool if he was to ever injure himself while on his journey. David thanks the merchant and goes on his way.
