Altiak 1648 Share Posted May 19, 2013 ~Clan MacRoss~ ~Clan Tartan~ ~Clan Banner~ ~Lore~ House MacRoss isn’t specifically long, unique or exciting. But it is true, which is the best thing of all. Ross Elendil, the second son of Lord Bruce Elendil, second out of three. He was out of the line of succession, thus decided to strive in combat. And do combat he did. After the first few feuds, Ross distinguished himself as a Warrior, and his father gave him the right to have his own Clan. And so was Clan MacRoss was born. The clan, lived on until the destruction of Ildon, and the Clan moved on, becoming Nomads, a glorified Mercenary Band. They continued in this way for numerous years, until coming across Ildon in Asulon. The Clan settled once more, returning to their Original Culture, but this Warrior-Way will stick with them, for that is the main profession of the MacRosses. Through this time, the MacRoss learnt to be Loyal, and the bravery of their forefather started to show through. However, this was not to last, and the Adunian Civil War commenced. The Clan, torn between sides, decided to leave, and instead faded into obscurity, waiting for the Real Adunian King. During this time, Clan MacRoss returned to their Nomadic Ways, and eventually, Anthos came into sight. The Clan had heard of Free Adunians, under the more liberal Kingdom of Uruguan. The Clan gathered and started their way to these people, headed to their leader, Lachlan. Their Kin. And now here they are, on the return Journey. And their story will expand to include brave feats and honourable deeds. I know you guys, and if I were to give you free rein over the lore, you'd make a complete mess out of it in a week. I implore you all to stop subdividing your already small and shrinking playerbase by adding more clans to be played by the same people with multiple Adunian characters. It would be much better if prospective Adunians worked something out with the already-existing clan leaders and applied to them to join the clans.
