Karin'ayla, people of Malinor. I am Xalarium Malvae, the new Treasurer of Malinor. As I'm sure you are aware, Malinor's taxation system has been rather relaxed but now as things have been organized, taxation will begin again. Below is a list of people who have payed taxes and who have yet to pay. This will be updated weekly. You will be allowed to pay taxes up to 3 elven weeks in advance. If your taxes haven't been payed for 3 elven weeks, the home will be considered abandoned and you will be evicted. The taxes will be low so there is no need to fret. Without further adieu, here is the list.

Igneberr looks at the announcement and is standing next to Ebs as he makes his remark. Igneberr grins at Ebs and says "Its longer then you lasted"

"I believe I was treasurer for quite a bit longer than that. Through the entirety of Kalos, actually. I would not expect you to know that, you were here building this settlement, which I suppose I would classify as finished, if not exactly functional."

 Literally looking over Ebs and Igneberr to read the announcement, Ivar's brow would furrow upon seeing his own name. He would finally look down to the two, a worried expression on his face."Ivar have lot of Mina, but Mr. Kaun pay no more Mina. How others get Mina if man like Mr. Kaun not any longer pay for work. Ivar know Mr. Kaun very forgetful for Labor Hall quota. Will other find job for make Mina to pay" Looks back at the notice to make sure he says it right before gazing back upon the two. "tax?"

Igneberr looks over to Ivar "With the money gained through taxes there will be money to give to the hard workers such as yourself"

Ivar couldn't help but to chuckle at the compliment. He would wave a hand modestly, shaking his head. "Ivar have 'nuf Mina for self. If other who work can get Mina, Ivar happy with it." With that, Ivar would turn with a "Van'ayla" before walking to the Treasury to pay his tax.

Dalia walks past the Hall of Labor, stopping as she sees the poster. She quickly reads it over, before chuckling.

"It's a good thing I live in a tree. I wonder if they would tax a tent...."

Serva walks up to the poster. After scanning it over, he gets a 'meh' expression on his face.

 

"Could be higher for all I care. We could surely use the money. . . "

Elindor is not surprised. Oren is given control and a taxation system follows. How long now till the elves too are without homes because of Godfrey's lust?

 

He mumbles "So long as they leave my vineyard alone I will continue to not give a ghast"
