- a letter is nailed to the gate of the palace in the Dwarven Capitol of Kal'Azgoth. These following words are upon said letter, if you wish to read it. -

~----------------------~

Karin'Ayla, Larurir'Bortu

I am sorry for my intrusion into your halls, but I bring with me a job of most valuable importance.

I seek your finest stone-cutter to cut me a gem of unrivaled beauty and perfection - I have the stone I seek cut, I can assure you that it is one-of-a-kind in its nature.

As befitting the skill of such an artisan, I am willing to pay the price of three thousand minas for the service.

Sulirrin y nae ilumeh, Bortu.

~----------------------~

-a sketch of the rock is shown below. It appears to be a blue-tinted rock that floats in a nebula of it's own shards, as if it holds them in place through some unknown force-

*Dom is walking through the inner district when he spots the note. Approaching it, he quickly reads of it before smiling and writing a quick reply. It reads..*

"I believe I can do the job you ask. I have quite a few years experience working with gems and stones, even carving obsidian. While I currently lack the finest tools, my dwarven made iron tools shall suffice to do the job."

~Archbishop Dominic Irongut, Clan Father of the Ironguts

Whistles merrily as he strolls around the city of Kal'Azgoth, noticing the letter and Dom's reply underneath he quickly writes a reply. Posting it below, frowning as he reads the contents out loud.

"Ah' Farren Starbreaker can do 'tu job yer ask, ah be 'ah smif by trade an such work means 'ah come in contact wit' jems often or not. Ah could perform t'u job 'tu ah sufficient standard. Send 'ah bird 'tu meself 'at 'tu smifin guild fer more details if yer wish. Ah leave it 'tu yer tu decide if meself or' Dom 'ave 'tu better skills fer 'tu job."

-Farren Starbreaker

((If not understandable, I'll provide a "translation" of the text from the accent to normal.))

Mayirr returns to the city, finding it quiet yet again, her footsteps echoing solemnly as she strides down the promenade, lava bubbling beneath reinforced glass underfoot.. She walks up to the palace where her last note was, and considers the replies with a nod, before pulling out her quill and portable ink-pouch and sketching a reply. She nails it to the wall after giving it a moment to dry. It reads;

~-----------~

Leyuan, Laurir'Bortu.

If possible, I wish for both of you to work upon the stone for the best possible result. I have reviewed my offer, and I believe that increasing the labor fee to four-thousand minas for each of you will be more reasonable.

This stone is paramount in a future project, and I will not have you break it due to shoddy tools. Buy better ones if needs be - I will fund you extra.

However. Break my stone, and I will pay you back in kind. Do we come to an understanding?

*Sees the reply and writes another*

"I agree with your terms. When can we arrange a meeting?"

He frowns momentarily as he glances at the reply before shrugging. Muttering softly.

"Bah! Ain't nofin' 'ah can do about it... 'Ah might as well accept."

Farren slowly reaches within his pouch, pulling out a small piece of paper and coal. He begins to scribble on the piece of paper, writing a small reply before posting it beneath the other reply's. It reads like so:

"I accept, I shall work aside Dominic on this matter. I'll leave it to him to arrange a meeting time where we can all meet. "

[[ Sorry for not clarifying it correctly. If you look next to the palace, it's attached to the wall near the gate.]]

Dorri Doomforge looks at the letter whilst trading iron in Kal'Azgoth, and raises an eyebrow at the poster. He grunts out "Ask Dormin. . ."

Mayirr once again returns to the Palace, adding a final notice to the board after reading through the replies.

~-----------~

Very well. I shall await your decision on when a meeting is most prudent. You can contact me at the "Flight of the Feather" archery shop in Kingston, or leave a notice on the noticeboard outside the gates.

Talareh nae evareh, Bortu.

May the stone preserve you, Dwarves.

((If we could arrange a time to meet, that would be brilliant.))

(( It is not overly important, but I have exams soon as well. It can be either now or later, and i'd prefer later if it means more of us can RP it. ))
