As Azatae sat in front of Leyun in the druid's tree, she thought many things.

"Jeremiah is dead."

 

She thought miserably. "

 

What else do I have to live for?

 Elphaba and Leyun say I can find happiness if I live. But with all this pain, how can I?

 Why would I?"

 

She stood, her decision made, tears streaming from her one good eye.

 

"Where are you going?"

 

Leyun inquired with worry. Azatae bit back a sob as she spoke,

 

"I-I can't do this anymore!"

 

She sobbed, running for the door. She saw a hole in the leaves, wondering how painful it would be to jump out.

 

"There's still happiness, out there in the world."

 

Leyun said in a pleading voice, knowing what Azatae was thinking. When Azatae took a step towards the hole, Leyun attempted to grab her, to save her life, only to be pushed back. Spreading her arms, letting the wind blow through her hair, thinking,

"Jeremiah."

Shedding a single tear for her dead husband,

"I'll see you soon."

Leyun made a frantic and desperate attempt to grab her, but it was too late. Azatae had jumped down the hole. She fell, a sad smile on her lips prior to losing unconsciousness. By the time she had hit the ground, her soul had already departed.

 

         Azatae Sylvari is dead, and the Sylvari bloodline, which was, prior to Azatae, of the purest stock possible amongst Mali'aheral. With her death, it is no more, much like du Draike, although it is unknown if the du Draike bloodline yet lives.

Jeremiah smiles, "I had wondered how long it would take for you to arrive. Come, there are some people I'd like you to meet." He would take her hand, and proceed into the afterlife with her, neither of them to ever be heard of again by those on the mortal plane.
