Deep within the serene forests of the elves a party of two sillumir move, dressed in black and chain-mail. Behind them stands their Sohaer, he himself in white followed by the Okarir'tir of Haelun'or in full iron armor and a single medi'ir, dressed in dark blue and gold. With each step they close the distance between themselves and Lenfarthing.
 
Before they arrive they pause, the Sohaer Kalenz and Medi'ir separate themselves from the group. Lights shimmer about the high elves, twisting about and distorting their forms. Pale skin becomes dark. Platinum hair becomes a deep grey. Moments later it would seem that a party of three dark elves and Kalenz stand upon the bridge. The sillumiran who stood there moments before having inexplicably transformed. Kalenz grimaced and leant upon his staff as they approached the soulpillar of Lenfarthing. He himself hiding behind a tree as the others approached a single figure which stood before the pillar.
 
Each claimed they could remove this figure from a list. Remove her from the list which doomed her to be hunted by the high elves until she was captured. All of a sudden a brilliant flash of light emanates form each of the dark elves. The process which occurred moments ago reverses revealing the armored high elves.
 
The dark one was sorrounded. Vierna was trapped. The group with their prisoner in tow turned and marched once again. Through the fields of trees and flowers back to their home of Lin'evaral. It was there they traveled deep into the caverns below the city to a cell where she was locked. Torches extinguished, darkness followed.

Over the course of five days she was kept. Tortured by cold shadowy hands, flames which reached out to burn her and wild laughter which echoed through the prison's halls. the mali'aheral were keeping her, keeping her long enough so that she may never forget the treatment she was afforded. Eventually, her ordeal of illusions was complete.

 

From the pitch black of the cell she was brought into the light. Dragged down the may steps of Haelun'or, dragged into the valley of flowers before the city. She was the third of her kind to be caught. The third fallen, thus three bolts from a firing squad of crannequin wielding sillumir would seal her fate.

 

"Extinguish the life of the cave elf before us".

"Ready".

"Aim".

"Fire".

 

Three bolts. Only one from this range would be enough to kill. She fell to the ground, killed instantly by a bolt which passed through her skull. Moments later a torch was thrown upon her body. Her clothing lit ablaze.

A third fallen had been purged. Yet still more were to come.

 

But hours after this had been done the Sohaer walked the streets of Malinor and Haelun'or and approached each wanted sign. A third name was struck from the list. Retribution had been given.
