When a race that is not Kharajyr pulls on a Kha's tail it is a great insult however when a Kharajyr pulls on another Kharajyr's tail, it means they wish to mate.

Vakaro is a Kha'Cheetrah kitten of a mere four years of age. He is a male kitten. He has a soft golden pelt with various brown spots on the pelt. As of this age he has very small whiskers, so small that they are not seen. He wears a small green loin cloth that has leather keeping it attached to him.

 

What is the personality of your character like?:

 

Vakaro is an extremely playful and curious kitten, often taking a few steps away from his mother to play in the low water or climb a small tree. He is keen to learn how from his father who he see's as his idol.

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:

 

The current ambitions for Vakaro is to merely grow up and learn. He wants to learn about Kharajyr culture and serve both Metztli  and his Tla. He wants to in some senses be like his father and be able to hunt like him one day. 

 

Character’s strengths/weaknesses:

 

As of now he does not have many strengths nor weaknesses although he does still have a few such a his curiosity which can be seen as both a strength and a weakness. His willingness to learn is a major strength that he does in fact have.

Situational Roleplay Questions

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

 

How does your character react?

 

Vakaro's eyes dart from left to right as he looks at the three men. Holding his small catch of a mere bird that he had taken out of the sky with his bow, the one he had made himself. He slowly backs away from the men, thinking of some possible solutions. If he choose to fight he would hold little chance, consider they are well armed and armoured. Not to mention his bow is on his back. However he might be able to outrun them, considering they are in a forest and he is extremely agile while they are heavily armoured. He nods to himself as he slowly brings the bird behind his back, his eyes widen some. He squeezes the bird in between his bow and his back, still backing away. The leader of the human's narrows his eyes "So you want to play that way then?" An evil grin slowly appears on his face. Vakaro swiftly drops onto all fours and starts to sprints away from the heavily armoured men. The men try to keep up with them however they cannot due to the terrain, the armour and the fact they are trying to catch a Kha'Cheetrah. Some distance ahead Vakaro stops sprinting and stands. He looks back and a smirk is seen on his face as the Humans are no where to be found. He goes on his way back to his home, to tell his brother about his adventure.

 

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

 

How does your character react?

 

Vakaro's eyes widen as he notices his friend trying to steal one of the gems. He breaks into a light jog going towards his friend. Vakaro places a firm paw on the shoulder of his friend giving him a stern look while shaking his head. His friend jumps slightly as Vakaro does this. Scared that he got caught he places the gem back almost instantly. Vakaro nods once, gesturing for him to leave the temple. Vakaro's friend hangs his head low as he slowly leave the temple. Vakaro shakes his head slowly, turning back to the alter he starts to pray to Metztli, asking her on advice if he should turn in his friend or not.

 

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

 

How does your character react?

 

Vakaro twists his head to the side as he looks at the dwarf. A small grin forms upon his face as he watch's the dwarf slowly run out of breath, his face shining a bright red as he coughs loudly, trying to catch his breath. The dwarf places his small hands on his knees as he leans over, still trying to catch his breath. Vakaro gives a slight chuckle before dropping onto all fours, while shaking his head. He then, just before the dwarf can start to shout once again, sprints off. In the distance he hears the dwarf shouting and Vakaro cannot help but merely smile, and give a small chuckle knowing how stupid the small apes are. 

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

 

How does your character react?

 

Vakaro sighs as he looks at the scene, knowing what he must do he frowns slightly. Taking a final look at his friend, he drops to all fours and starts to sprint towards the Tla's child. A large piece of wood had fallen on the Tla's tail, thus rendering him unable to get out. As soon as Vakaro gets there, he almost tackles the log, it moves slightly upward allowing the child to squeeze himself free. The child starts to stumble forth, clearly not fast enough so once Vakaro had turned he started to sprint, once again on all fours. As he passes the child he bites on his fur while running past thus picking him up. Running back to safety he gives the child back to it's father, a bright smile on his face knowing he had done the right thing.
