So I come on today to find the steamer that was lent to my Marines by the Dwarven Armada was missing.

Scenario:

The Ship was sent to scar off to fight pirates after a Marine ship was located in the Cove. Now this was a few real life months ago. So here is a simple timeline.

-ship stolen

-Armada ship sent to defend intrests.

-Dwarven Steamer Remained in Birch Wood Docks, after engine failed to start after running engine too hot the day before.

-ship is vandalized and sunk at Birch Isle Dock

-ship then hoisted on crane to repair hull, and ultimately salvage the ship.

-after ship's hull was repaired, ship is towed to the Dwarven Military Docks for Engine Repairs.

Today

-ship was stolen from Birch Isle Docks.... amazingly while its engine was being repaired in the dwarven kingdom.(we had signs)

((I was keeping an ooc copy of the ship in my docks, so we didnt have to have it copied if we needed it later on)).

Wode said she could not move the ship oocly because it was the 2nd time it was moved. We were planning to rebuild the same ship in the harbor to back up the rp of towing the ship. The shiip can be replicated, but the Humans gaining Dwarven technology from stealing a ship in dwarven harbor is power gaming not knowing where the ship is rply.

How can people steal ships that are not there RPLY?

Did you speak with a GM about this before making this thread?

Did you speak with a GM about this before making this thread?

Yes. I still need to speak to Rhia who moved the vessel, I just want all this power gaming to stop. I am not looking for the answer for my scenario just the general question. I posted my scenario to dictate my view.

Would like to note, as per the VA rules, whoever stole your ship must have OOC permission from you as it should qualify as a large object.

I take it that they stole it without your consent? If not, what you need to do is find the players who did it and PM the VAT immediately.

If you'd like I'll speak to Rhia for you.

Correct.

[Minor Evil] 1a thievery / cheating - Self explanatory. Cheating must not abuse game mechanics, you may not lie or cheat out of character.(The stealing of large objects such as boats and anvils require OOC consent and must be given to the gm/admin overlooking the act before you start.)

In a situation where you do not require a VA to perform an action you usually would, you are still bound by the VA rules.

They need your OOC consent to steal your boat.

This players questions have been answered and the situation resolved.

Should you wish to have this reopened, please PM me your reasons why it should be so.
