Lvke 1000 Share Posted July 21, 2013 My character and his fellow orcs took a trip to the iron mines to rob some minors of their hard earned materials, and get a good roast dinner, but lo and behold when we got there, the mine was empty. Mind you, when we entered the mine, we saw this: And got quite excited, and began trying to mine it with our pickaxes, only to find we couldn't. We don't know why, but could someone possibly help us? jamesb 218 Share Posted July 21, 2013 The Iron Blocks can't be mined, only the ores. If their were no ores in the entire mine, someone probs mined them. If that was the only room in the entire mine, then idk.
Samson Option 9652 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Khal Drogo poured molten iron all over the iron blocks to distinguish aesthetics from what can be gathered. :
Ever 2648 Share Posted July 21, 2013 As stated above, those iron blocks are simply there for aesthetic purposes. They can't be stolen (and I've been asked 100+ times about them already).
Lvke 1000 Author Share Posted July 21, 2013 So, not even 2 full grown orcs, two lur wolves and an olog could drag off one of them?

Might want to contemplate putting some wool over the iron stocks then, it is breaking my interactivity with the environment :
Lago 2572 Share Posted July 21, 2013 "We should go mine some scraps of ore and ignore this motherlode right here." Probably should change those iron blocks to chests or something.
Ever 2648 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Fine. They're not iron blocks. They're piles of salt. In an iron mine. Why is salt in an iron mine? 'cus we don't have salt mines. MOVING ON!

Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Just put a sign in front of the motherlode stating that two burly-looking halflings and 30 Oren seamen are standing guard there. Problem solved. Also, that's pretty fancy, smelting iron blocks on site with no smelting facilities, in the corner of a dank grotto heavily trafficked by thugs.
