Hiring A Gardener - Lenfarthing Job

 Share

Recommended Posts

Among the various noticeboards around Lenfarthing, notes are set, written by a fairly new Halfling around the town. Should you look closer at any of the notes, you will see elegant, spidery handwriting, advertising some sort of occupational opportunity.

Greetings, my fellow townsfolk, you may have met me before; I am Will Took, a new face around the village. Though our people are often blessed with the gift of growing herbs and plants, this trait was not passed down to me. I do not possess a green thumb, though I can write my fair share!

I yearn for a gardener, one who will keep my garden looking top-shape and clean. This pay for this job will include meals, the friendship of a Deputy, possible mingling, and of course, I will be willing to share a few coins for your hard work.

I own several gardening tools, along with a quality lawn clipper, all you must bring to work are a pair of gloves, a sane wit, and a willingness to work! Honesty is required!

If you are interested in this simple job, visit me at my home, #3 Lighthouse Lane. Just knock on the door, and I will come (post on this thread). Thank you for your time! - Wilbur 'Will' Took

So, will you take the job or not?!

Aislinn reads over the poster, blinking a few times.

"Why, this is something I could do."

He pauses when he reads a certain line, shaking his head before he walks off.

Salm scrawls a note on the paper, even though he didn't read most of it

"Sure, Wilbur. I, Salm Melontoes, will be your gardener. I do love growing petunias. And other assorted foods and flowers."
