Janehsi looked at the sky. How beautiful it seemed to be, now that she had eyes. But there was something off… something dark within it. She had always paid attention to the stars and the moon, never the darkness in between those. That darkness… that void… it made all those little lights in the sky seem insignificant. It made the sun run away. Was it possible that this was stronger than the moon? Maybe… maybe it was. Getting up, she let out a blood curdling wail of pain, grasping at her head. Voices… so many voices…  they all wanted something from her… EVERYONE WANTED SOMETHING! And then her sense of reality shattered, and then she screamed and writhed in pain, falling to the ground.

Nearby, Emetaly heard the screams, her running towards the source; Si’Janehsi. Going to help the kha, she leaned down, touching the writhing and squirming figure on the shoulder. “Issa kha’ awl’riet?” she asked, clearly concerned. A demented giggle came from the kha’, who was currently clawing at her face, drawing blood. “Hee hee hee… y-yes… I awm..” she giggled, it sounding more like a gurgle as her face turned towards the other female. The face was ghastly, a face of a monster (in the sense that you would call a murderer a monster), not a kha’ with six kittens and a metz’al.

Janehsi went to grab Emetaly’s throat, her claws digging into it. The Pantera yelped, gagging as she clawed at the hands around her neck. Janehsi, giggling madly, continued to strangle the life out of the Pantera. Emetaly gagged and tried to scream for help, scream for Rameethar, scream for Aeliake, scream for her kittens… but all in vain. But before she died, Emetaly slashed at the madkha’s left eye, getting a scream of pain from Janehsi before – snap!

Panting, Janehsi let go of Emetaly, her limp body falling down as one hand covered her now blinded eye. No… she wasn’t Janehsi. Janehsi was dead. As dead as that kha’, never to return. Giggling, she wiped the blood across her face, matting down her fur with the crimson life-energy of her body. She then began to walk away from the murder. She then got off of the island. There was nothing there for her.. nothing there for this creature. She wasn’t Janehsi. That person that she used to be felt like a distant memory… a leaf in the wind. She was now something completely different.

She was the Huntress. And everything in this world, kharajyr, elf, man, dwarf, orc or Halfling, were her prey.

And by her hand...

No one shall be the same...

All will be dust.
