As you walk into the city, a ghastly site marks the gates. Blood is painted along the walls in a collage of art, the only visible color visible crimson. Upon the visage of the atrocity, are painted arrows, all pointing upwards above the gate. Should you look up you'd see many naked corpses, hung and disemboweled for the world to see. Their eyes are gouged to a point beyond recognition. 

 

From left to right, the corpses would be recognizable, though hard from such a distance and due to the quality they remain. If you were to look from left to right, you'd see the following in tatters. Sarah Archdiamond is hung by a thick rope, high above the gates, soaked tears down her face. She is noticeably bald and devoid of her usual blonde hair, patches here and there in a disfigured fashion. Her final fate an obvious throat, slit with precision. Next to her is another Archdiamond, Alice to be exact. An arrow protrudes from her back, a clear pierce into her spine. With a gentle swing of the rope, next to her is Celestria. Her hair matted from the crimson coloring arranged within it. A leg would be missing, blood trickling from the wound like a loose faucet with a pitter patter on the stone below. An arrow would stick from her gut firmly, its intentions done and buried in her flesh. 

 

The first visible male of the group sways melodically next to the family of women, throat slit cleanly. Anyone who knew him would know him  as Archibald Vallero, a look of shock upon his face, which would be visible if he still possessed his own eyes. Blood still leaks from said wound, staining some of the ground with his blood. Aerik Pendragon is next in the clique of corpses, rather still as he hangs his head low. His throat is slit as well, not much to see besides the obvious. To finish off the list, Emmeline Silverblade hangs, her neck twisted like a broken toy. Her jaw is broken and hanging agape as if her last moments were spent screaming. 

 

Something noticeable would be seen between the several bodies loitering above the gates. A symbol dots over all of their corpses in rapid succession. They all seem to be a clone of each other, rather repetitive in their appearance. 

 

 

While the women have it more along their arms and cheeks of their face, men have it along their chests. None along their guts, as they're all disemboweled with their insides hanging out lazily.  Silence overcomes the area, nothing else to see upon the tattered beings. Should you simply look down, the symbol is painted in blood, large across the stone brick of the gate. Many smiling faces painted around it, approving grins adorning said symbol.
