I believe it has been said by the VAT that you actually do need a VA. After all, you aren't magical creatures since you're still intelligent beings.

So, Dryads aren't intelligent?

Out of Character Questions:

Minecraft Username:
Raxxtus99/TehBagelMaster

Graven Name/Title:
The Phantom Doctor

Screenshot of skin to be used:

Will post it soon

In a sentence or less, why do you want to play a Graven character:

I RPed with a Graven not long ago, and it was the most exciting RP I’ve had in a long time.

What roleplay do you feel you will bring to other players as a Graven:

I hope to bring extraordinary and unique RP that most people have yet to see it on the server.

What ghost story, if any, is your Graven based on:

None.

Have you been accepted for a VA or MA, and if so, how many times did it take to be accepted? If more than one separate application, please answer for all:

Open Response Questions:

What is your Graven's unfulfilled duty:

My Graven’s unfulfilled duty is saving lives. As a doctor, he is devoted to helping the injured and dying. However, while he died thousands of years ago, he resorts to old ways of healing. Often times, amputation is the answer in his eyes. If he doesn’t know how to heal an injury on a limb, be it a gash, hope the patient doesn’t like that arm too much! Other times, trepanation, or drilling holes in ones skull, also works quite well. He finds someone complaining about a headache, he’s got just the cure!

To what does your Graven most respond:

The Phantom Doctor most responds to cries of pain. When he hears a plea for help, he knows that there is someone that he can assist (or not assist).

What, specifically, regenerates your Graven's energies (i.e. in what way is its duty fulfilled):

My Graven’s energies are revived after using his efforts to “help” someone. Whether it be a failure, or a success, he feels he has done good.

What are some typical signs of your Graven manifesting:

Distant screams from those he has “saved” can be heard near the beginning. Then, the sounds of the injured and dying are heard. Moans and groans and occasional cries of agony are apparent. Also, those near him will hear a faraway shout of “Help!...”

Write a short (2-3 paragraphs) biography of your Graven's first life:

The Phantom Doctor’s name in life was Erik Thyne. He lived in a time of high death rates, and low medical knowledge. His father was the village’s medic, and assisted all of the injured in their village. When Erik was young, he enjoyed watching his father work, and picked up on many of the techniques used by his father. As he grew older, his father taught Erik the needed abilities to become a doctor.

After he practiced these techniques for years, his father died from infection, and he became the village’s doctor. He swore to himself that he would help all those in need that is within his power.

Years later, a terrible plague struck Erik’s village. Being the village doctor, Erik was expected to know what to do. He however, hadn’t the slightest idea. This wouldn’t have mattered, because after just a few days, the entire village had contracted the plague. In a matter of 3 days, the entire village had died. Thousands of years later, The Phantom Doctor rose again, to continue the work he had begun in life.

Pirates or Ninjas:
Obviously Pirates. (Arrrggh!)

Write an open-ended encounter of your choice that involves your Graven interacting with a living person (doesn't need to be longer than a paragraph, if you aren't into heavy writing):

The Phantom Doctor walks down the path slowly, when he hears a plea. “Help..!” Immediately he stops, searching for the source of the yell. He spots a man lying near a tree off the side of the path. The Phantom Doctor strolls over next to him. “What has happened?” He asks in an airy voice.

“I- I was shot with a bow..” The man nods to his left arm with an arrow protruding from it. A smile grows on the Doctor’s face.

“Allow me to help.” The Phantom Doctor kneels down, revealing his amputation saw. He places his knee onto the man’s

bicep, beginning to saw. Screams are heard from all around, and a grinding noise coming from the saw. The Phantom Doctor finishes sawing through the bone, and tosses the arm to the side. “There you are! All good to go.” He stands, and
continues walking down the path. Distant moans and a single shout is heard as he walks out of sight. “Help..!”
