Across various tree trunks, bulletin boards and posts within the leafy expanse of Mali'nor and all surrounding areas, small, intricate notices have been tacked up. They are framed and protected from the elements, each written in flourishing font upon white, crisp parchment.

Lesser-Elves Sought Out

Haelun'or, the blessed nation of the Mali'aheral, seeks elven individuals who are capable of casting off their illogical Malinorian beliefs and other such unfounded concepts to live within the most venerated cihi of Lin'everal.

Assuming these elves accept their natural state of being, they shall be afforded homes and permitted to live in the idyllic city of the Mali'thill.

~ The Silver Enclave of Haelun'or ~

OOC Spoiler:

Do you cry yourself to sleep every night knowing your elf is not a high elf and therefore due to their dark skin they will never be able to see the venerated city of racist elves?

Does your character want to frolic about in blessed purity despite having been born a lesser elf?

Well never fear, for I have a one time handy-dandy solution to make all your woes go away! "But what could this solution be?" You ask. Well, the solution is simple: march your elf on over to racist town!

It is now that you are no doubt sitting behind your computer screen frowning "Why would my elf come to racist town? No doubt he would simply be turned away and laughed at like he was last time."

Well, well my fellow role-players, allow me to let you in on the most well-hidden secret in the history of LotC: the high elves let non-high elves live in their city.

...*Gasp*...

Wait, that wasn't dramatic enough. How about all caps?

...*GASP!*

Much better.

Throughout high elven history other elves, particularly dark elves, have been permitted inside Haelun'or should they accept or claim to accept the superiority of the high elves and likewise wish to aid them in their endeavors. Indeed, there have been at least three dark elves who have lived in the city-proper for an extended period of time, working their way up until they have the rights of an almost-citizen! Indeed, depending on their population at any given time they have, on occasion been given entire segments of the city!

Does this mean that my dark elf can insult high elves, you ask? No, there is still the acid pit for those elves! But it does mean that your dark elf will be insulted less viciously! After all, a helpful dark elf is better than the alternative.

But why am I telling you this? Well, it should seem that in the last while this has been forgotten (or perhaps it was never known and people only stumbled upon it by chance). It is therefore that this shall serve as an OOC reminder of this different, fun and overall unique RP experience.

Warning: Your elf may become the test subject for multitudes of mildly mad experiments.

Khel attempts to raise a brow at the sign; however, as a dark elf he is genetically unable so his eyebrow twitches about. His gaze falls onto "Lesser-Elves"

"That's rather attractive"

He states in a volume under his breath, the tone drips with sarcasm. He takes a dagger from the sheath on his thigh and scratches words onto the bark, just below one of the posters. Khel tediously works into the wood, taking his time as his message is long

Mali'ker who accept this offer are maggots and will eternally be labeled as such. You will become a slave to the pale-skins by partaking in this offer, for they view you as a mere beast when it's they who are the rothe. Do not abandon the potential of strength your superior culture bares, to abandon it reaps consequences onto yourself by those of true Dark Elven merit

Kaelthes grunts, reading Khel's message.

"It seems that some of the lesser Mali would remain to be ungrateful... A pity."

With another grunt, he turns, returning to being the edgiest Mali'aheral in Haelun'or.

((And then there was Laku, who snuck into Haelun'or and harassed you every day for an OOC week.))

An orcish hawk, still young but growing bigger and stronger every day, whirls in the skies above the city, its powerful wings carrying it just above the range of most bows above the high elven fortress. It drops something, which plummets to earth like a meteor. The object turns out to be a carved piece of wood with a crude orcish word and a white skull painted on it. While cracked by the force of the fall, it remains mostly intact.

It reads: "Gitz."'

Kargul watches, one-eyed, from the cover of the forests, grinning as he beckons his new hawk Screech to return. After all, if he ever wanted to get inside the city of racist long-ears, all he would have to do is climb the walls.

"Agh deyr aind nub wullz mi kand cliym, hur hur." Kargul laughs to himself, then walks off, hunting a particularly elusive deer.

Mythras chuckles. "I'm a mali'ker and I enter the city all the time, and nobody cares. And I haven't given up my beliefs!"
