Attached to the center of tavern billboards and notice boards throughout the land, a note written in freshly tanned leather. The author, whoever it may be, was elegant, and had a taste for proper calligraphy. It's written in a dark red ink, almost shimmering and refracting it's self in the light as your eyes dart in between the lines, scanning it's message.

 

 

 

 

"If unto the darkness you thought we descended  you were wrong. We were always here, watching.. observing the world go 'around. The days we counted went by sooner than we expected, and sooner than hoped for. Pitied souls shall be trampled by the death tolls of endless fields of rock and flesh. For life in it's certainty is all an illusion bleak from the mind. Your Arrogance and foolishness only leads you too far from the path that darkens your fate into a cold abyss that is life.... If there's no one beside you when your soul embarks, we will follow you into the dark."
