Greetings

 

My name is Tenshar Karkun and I am the Savant for the Department of Naturalism within the Ministry of Contemplation and acting lead while Ptah is away. Today I post this seeking books to stock our library currently under planning within the Ministry's Research Lab located along the road outside cloud temple.

 

The books I seek must be of of value in a historical nature or in subject. Books from the North are of a prime interest to assist in researching and understanding the changed creatures of the North. Twice I have been to the lands they stalk and I have plans on a third venture but to do so I must catch up on what is known about them.

 

Though I suspect few others have had a chance to study them up close such as I have, which is perhaps a good thing.

 

 I also seek objects from the north as research material for the other departments within the Ministry and will pay for such either in coin or in knowledge in return, and the same with books. Mind you I will accept copies gladly but such will not fetch as high a price and will be based on the information held within and not the rarity.

 

And finally I seek to purchase a steed for my trip into the north. It must be sturdy and able to handle the biting cold beyond the mountains. The faster the horse and the more stamina the more I am willing to pay and again such can be in Minas, knowledge or resources.

We breed mounts of war purely bred for hardy terrain. These mounts are like children to the Wolvengard, so I offer you a proposition. We will allow you to buy a sturdy garron by the name of Arough, these coursers are fleet of foot ((Tier 2)) and of a sturdy sure footed nature ((11 hearts, so plus 1 hearts)). They are worth a lot to us, but alas we already have too many horses to care for. The colouring of Arough is a brown Appaloosa. He will nae let you down, of that I can assure you.

A detailed document on the dwarven Gods, their symbols,

realms, traditions and their impacts (or lack of) on dwarven

societies.

 

If you are interested, I would be willing to meet at a location

of your choosing. The master copies of these books would

only be on loan to you, whereas the ones that already have

been copied by myself would be yours to keep. I am open

for any trade: information, knowledge or material wealth."

Sonn Ander whistles a high pitched tune as he wanders through the brisk morning air, Upon seeing this he quickly scribbles down a reply it reads

 

"I can give you one of their objects and I have a very fine horse ((14 hearts and it's pretty quick)) I ask for no minas in return but only any books on magic (excluding hyrdomancy) I will happily return the books once I have read them through a few times. If you are interested just leave a reply."

"Sir Ander, your offer is generous but currently I only hold two books detailing anything to do with magic and I do not think such would be a fair deal. Should you have any other things you are looking for that can be added to the trade of decide to recind it please return a letter detailing such"

 

"Lord Commander, what is the price of the horse and is there a time we can arrange for me to look the horse over?"

 

"Thank you, I will search out this Baron Van Roy and speak to him on such. What meteorite is it you speak of, as I have heard of many but have never had a chance to study any of them?"

"This is one of the finest horses in the land! And I am offering to give that and a strange sword I found at the battle of Greywrym just so I can read your books! That seems fair to me, I can even provide supplies for your trip if need be"

Slaps his face at misunderstanding the letter before returning his own letter under which he scrawls a small apology

 

"Sorry... I misread the last letter but no I don't really need anything else unless you wish to give me anything that might come in handy, I don't tend to need things. I am just curious about the arcane arts anything related to these would be appreciated"

Aleris sits down, writing a careful and elegant note addressed to Mr. Karkun. 

 

" I do not possess any written knowledge on the creatures from the North, but I have a few interesting and unique artifacts that you may be interested in. Many of them were acquired from the ruins of Greywyn, some even taken off of the creatures themselves! I'm sure such objects fetch a hefty price. If you wish, we can conduct a trade of information of sorts. I would prefer to do such in person, however.
