Valuables And Oddities

Stapled to a tree in the pine forest outside of the Cloud Temple, on the Abresi noticeboard, by the walls of Gronkkston and nailed to a stone in Kralta one would find a note:

I, Bael Tunnelsmasher, am trying to part with many of the stranger

objects that lie in my possession. If one has interest in a purchase, I

am sure we can find a suitable time and place to meet and exchange.

The following are for sale:

- A Cockatrice Egg

Unfortunately, the item in question is cracked and should one take

a peek inside, they would notice the chick is stillborn. However it

still presents the opportunity to examine the dangerous and illusive

species up close from the safety of your own home or labratory.

- A Fine Emerald Necklace

This particular object bears fine craftsmanship and was 'obtained'

from the Mannish kingdom of Herendul. It is quite valuable with

a large gemstone inlaid and obviously was once the property of a

 rich or wasteful noble.

- A Mysterious Staff

The origins of this particular object elude me however my sources

indicate it has a connection with the shadow that resides in the north

and may or may not have been carried by a powerful member of

that particular evil, my own magical sense indicates it is enchanted.

[[ Dark Enegy Staff ]]

- Corrupted Stone

A sampling of the corrupted stone that at one point made up the

fallen Mannish fortress of Greywyn. My particular sample has stayed

in a corrupted manner inspite of the disappearence of the corruption

 at the sample site itself.

- A Subudai Composite Bow

If you're after this item, you best have deep pockets. While a fine

weapon in its own right, this bow is of ornate design and is engraved

with the name of Sauros Alanbataar, last Khagan of the Subudai

Hordes. A fine prize for a bowmaster or collector of relics.

- A Pair of Tarnished Copper Necklaces

While sounding worthless as copper is a common material, one would

have to handle these objects to appreciate them. They resonate a very

primal emotion, which is up to you to decide.

- The Head of a Vallei'Feta

The dismembered head of a snow elf from Ondnarrch's legions... quite

the prize. The head is fully intact and the flesh, skin and eyes are not

only still in place, but perfectly preserved by the bitter cold.

- The Skull of a Harpy

Another oddity acquired during my hunts. It is far lighter then one

what you would expect for an object made of bone its size. It is also

very fragile, but still completely intact.

- A D-Tool

A dwarven digging tool. Sort of like a shovel, but crossed with a combat

axe. The item is designed by Nalro Greyhammer and acquired by myself.

- The Skull of Captain Seaworthy

I really have no idea. Apparently belonged to some fellow named Captain

Seaworthy. I have no idea who he is or what he did.

- A Kharajyr Pelt

Could be used to make a nice rug or blanket. Maybe even a fine cloak

or anything else you want. Quite self explanatory.

- A Black Iron Bow

A strange weapon pulled from the hands of a skeletal archer. It appears

to have been forged from black iron, it has a dull sheen and the test

shot I have taken indicates that it is quite a powerful weapon, if slightly

heavy and difficult to draw back.

- A Reflective Stone

A strange piece of rock. It appears to be ice, reflects light like a glass

but is as hard as any other rock you would find on the floor.

All offers are open, I will contact he who places the highest price on

an item of interest. Thank you for taking them time to read me!

I can provide SC evidence for ownership of all items listed.

Bael thanks God-Man Ever for helping Bael liberate said cockatrice egg from the bastardly Adunians who were oppressing it. Bael also takes note of the current offers for his shinies and decides to wait a few days before he makes any move.

Right atop the note of the first bidder is a scripture entailing the offer of another individual attracted by Bael's wares;

it states the following, written as if in a hurry:

"Two-hundred Mina for the Emerald Necklace."

Glaewen leaves a note on one of the posters, written in black ink and a sharp, elegant script.

"I offer a starting bid of 100 minas for the Kharajyr pelt, or will purchase it outright for 300 minas."
