A note is pinned up in various signs and towns, reading:

 

"Simply put, I am looking to buy magical tomes of any sort. Magic has always interested me and I know many who possess the power, but I simply can not find a teacher due to certain reasons of which I would rather not go into detail about. If anyone has one of these magical tomes and is willing to sell it to me, I would be willing to pay quite a large sum of money and jewels, and other rare trinkets and objects for it. If anyone is capable of selling to me, please send a bird to 'Kindred'((Knyghtfalcon)), we can discuss further from there."

"The ikruan who believe magic is as simple as read and go.

As my master taught me, if you truly show an interest in the arcane, the arcane will show an interest in you. Devote time, ask around and build trust, and perhaps one day you will get what you want. If I seem vague, I can elaborate. I am in Ac'talarah."

"I can not help you in your search however I wish you good luck with finding the tomes you seek"
