Past the various books both new and old within the New Eternal library of Haelun'or and deep within the labyrinth where previously the referendum for mali'aheral law sat for votes now sits another page of script. A lamp flickers above this page and once one is to lean in text becomes evident:

 

-The revered Okarir’tir will be the epitome of authority in matters pertaining the laws of the mali’aheral civilisation--for they are the guardians and keepers of the peace.

 

The words of the Okarir'tir shall follow and upkeep only the letter of the law. The Okarir'tir shall be chosen by referendum, and, should the citizenry be dissatisfied with their actions, can be removed by the same process.

 

It is noteworthy that the Sillumir shall be reformed once more and take the role of a more autonomous organisation than they were previously.

 

In accordance to the newly adopted laws of the Mali'aheral as written by Lucion Sullas the election of the Okarir'tir is to take place. All adult mali'aheral may elect another mali'aheral or themselves for the position.

 

Speeches are preferred to outline qualifications and goals.

Kalameet stands in Haelun'or, his eyes unfocused, slowly crafting glowing writing on a nearby message board. It is his speech, in case anyone misses it.

"Mali'thill of Haelun'or, It has been many years since I first step foot in Haelun'or, and proved my purity. In those years, many times did I aid, and protect other Mali'aheral of the city. Many times did I purged the taint from the filthy Valah, Mali'ker and Mali'ame who dared besiege, or antagonize this grand city. I was one, aided by my apprentice, who attacked the Black Scourge from within Haelun'or, one who slew many of their blight."

"I Kalameet Izalith, first of the Izalith, offer myself to Haelun'or as Okarir'tir. I swear by my thill blood that I will uphold any rights require of such a position. I Kalameet Izalith, swear I will not allow petty emotions to cloud my judgment, to be swayed away from what is necessary, and required for Haelun'or. I Kalameet, swear once chosen as Okarir'tir, I will safeguard our people, our honor, and our purity.

"Maehr'sae, hiylun okarae'erih'ehya lye kaean'leh thilln."

Kalameet finishes his speech, along with the illusionary writing on the board. He flatens the ends of his robes, slowly walking off, his robes catching the wind as he does.

Ulmo'Maehr pins a small, neat note to the board, in light blue ink.

 

I do not nominate myself, for I hold no wish for such a position regardless of my achievements and abilities. Instead I nominate another for such a position. There is one I see as capable and willing, experienced in the art of war. It is such as he, warriors of substance and integrity, that shall lead the Sillumir to a position from which to defend our Cihi. It is not bandied word nor honeyed tongue that create a force of arms to serve as the shield that guards us all, but a single man to take up the burden, and by his strength and courage inspire his men to follow him, with the same strength and courage.

 

Veren is such a man, experienced and of honour, he shall be the one to defend us in these coming days, and I for one would have the honour of standing beside him, as a shield against all who would bear ill-will to Haelun'Or.

Sean is someone who has been highly motivated in this reformation of the Sillumir, and hs contributed to and helped drive it, alongside Connor and others, furthermore, he is experienced with what is necessary for such a group, and I believe is capable of the role. Fanks :3
