Christopher de Rosaen looks at his war chess board in curiousity, "The Herenduls can win this". He mumbles, placing the Rosaen piece in the middle. His brother stands behind him, both have been seeking a kingdom or place to stay, and Herendul seems to be the best for the house so far. With a nod he sits behind his desk, and decides to write a letter to David Winter.

Dear David Winer,

I feel unfortunate to say that the first non classified letter I write to you had to be

request, yet I do not seem to have another choice for my House and myself.

De Rosaens would like to request a place under your barony, or a county under

your influence. Herendul seems to the kingdom of oppertunities, and we would

like to enhance that with our touch to it.

I would not lie of our plans, if the Winters are generous enough to provide de Rosaens with

land for the creation of a safe haven, a place of improvement beneficial to all

of Herendul.

Our plans are simple, ambitious, but possible.

We merely want land to create a county which would produce

quality and cheap products for the kingdom, as well as provide

homes to our allies and the poor. We do not seek war, we seek

to prove our alligiance towards you, David Winter. De Rosaens would

forever be in your debt, and with our production and ever evolving

methods of living we could, and will be generous towards you and Herendul.

We may not have the military to aid you against the Flay's, and you seem

not to be interested in diplomacy. We highly respect your decision, and hope

to be of great meaning towards Herendul and you.

de Rosaens are awaiting your decision with desperation and excitement,

After all, we should not fight, but give and take.

My lord Winter, let us join in prosperity to strive for a better age.

Standing over his cousin as he opens the letter, the King is curious as to why the de Rosaens are pledging their loyalty to his younger fourth cousin once removed. Chuckling for a moment, he instructs David to pen a reply.
