Personality Biography -------------------------------- Éléonore is notably ambitious and driven, especially when it comes to achieving her goals. Although when things don't exactly go as planned, she tends to become very impatient or angered. She has more of a feeling mindset than a thinking one, which allows her to be more empathic and have emotions tied to her decisions. This also affects her because she sometimes acts on a whim before really thinking about the decision she is about to make. Despite these negatives, Éléonore is extremely kind and generous to those around her. Her optimistic mindset encourages her to bring people together and build bridges rather than walls. She believes anyone can have a second chance if they have repented for their mistakes of the past. The Frosthearts have a few traits that have passed on through every generation.Both their ambitiousness and headstrongness amongst women has pursued. The comedic nature of sarcasm and practical joking has passed on as well. She has adopted this sarcastic and comedic nature, although she must remember that not everywhere is the place or time to crack a joke. Not having much to do on the farm, Éléonore loved to read books and learn more about the world through literature. She loved to read the stories of magic, royals, and epic battles of the past. She dreams of learning the art of magic and becoming a knight, or becoming a royal. She disliked the idea of gender roles found in heartlander society. She wishes that women could be more prominent in her culture and have more free will to pursue careers or work in magic and other male-dominated fields. In addition to reading, Éléonore enjoyed spending time with her family and her farm cat sansa, as well as gathering with the other farmers within the area. She has established strong relationships with those around her due to the small number of people living in the outskirts of the highlands. Although she enjoyed spending time with those she loved, she valued the time she spent alone in the barn reading her books. There was not a strong religious influence in the family, but she read the texts of the red faith and the Canonist texts. Knowing the history of Horen, she wanted to learn more about the seven skies. She questioned the reality of god and the realm of the seven skies. She believes that because of Iblees’s curse on Horen, she must live her life to the full extent. She wants to travel to the city of Haense or Norland, where she hopes to find new opportunities. Her Story ------------------------------- Éléonore Frostheart was born in the month of Horen’s Calling to Loritta and Phillip Frostheart. She is an only child for her mother lost the ability to bore the family fruit after her first child. She grew up alongside the Brotels, who became acquaintanced with Phillip in the city of Haense. Catacus Brotel and Phillip Frostheart left Haense to live on a farm outside of the city. It was there where they started their individual families and their farms. Olwyna, wife of Catacus, bore 3 beautiful children: Her eldest son Westley, who is the same age as Éléonore, Her daughter Deirdre, 2 years younger than Éléonore, and Olwyn, who is 4 years younger than Éléonore. Due to their status as farmers, the Brotels and Frosthearts were not able to get an education. Even if they had the opportunity, their mothers would not allow for them to enter the city of Haense. When the children were not working on the farm, their mothers would teach them how to read books. They would read stories of the history of the world and tales of the past. They also read the texts of the Red Faith and the Canonist Religion. The tales that Éléonore read with her mother made her wonder what the world was like outside of the farm. She dreamed of honing the power of magic and becoming a knight, or falling in love with a powerful prince and becoming a royal. There were so many things she could dream of doing with her life, but she felt trapped in the little farm. Éléonore kept a close relationship with Westley and Deirdre. They would play when they weren’t tending to the fields. A favorite game of theirs was witches, wizards, and knights. Éléonore enjoyed playing as the knight, who has to rescue the princess, and sometimes even the prince. They played these imaginative games through their adolescence. As they were entering life as young adults, they started to spend less time together. Deirdre had to keep a watchful eye on her brother Owlyn, who tended to the farm animals, and Westley would go with his father to the city to sell their produce. When Westley returned, he and Éléonore would sneak off to the lake, and sit under a large ashwood tree. They would sit and talk for hours about their goals and aspirations. He would tell her about his experiences in the city, and she would share her dreams of learning magic and becoming a knight for the king. Éléonore realized that she was the last of her name, for the Frosthearts had no sons to continue their bloodline. One evening when Éléonore and Westley were returning from the lake, they could hear their father’s yelling from the yard. Although they didn’t know exactly what they were saying in the fight, what they got from it was that Phillip had been sleeping with Catacus’s wife Olwyna. It can be assumed that her son Olwyn was conceived from their affair, thus making him Éléonore’s half brother. Angered by the betrayal of his friend, Catacus gathered his family’s belongings and left the farm for the city of Haense. Upon their departure, Westley promised Éléonore that they would find eachother again. Some time had passed from the day that the Brotels left the farm. Éléonore would stay home and tend to the farm with her mother while her father would enter the city to sell at the market. Their family was never the same after the scandal with the Brotels. When the World Cataclysm began happening, Éléonore had no choice but to escape to Haense with her parents in order to get on a ship to Amaris. Her parents were crushed by the debris from the asteroids. She left by herself to Almaris on a ship. Here she could begin a new life, a new beginning, hopefully free from her restricted past.
