Evening LotC’ers. Here are the patch notes for the next patch; LotC 4.5.1
Some of you may wonder: NEW MAP!? and the answer is… not quite. Due to the rapidly approaching dissolution of Nexus-Core the Nexus patchnote system is now going out of commission. We will now, from this point forward, be updating the global patch numbers (e.g. - 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5) as patches and content roll out
This update will be slated to go live later tomorrow, after the warclaim is all finished.
There will be some scheduled downtime immediately after for 5-10 minutes to make sure everything is functioning as intended.
Crafting
Time between repairs now takes into account skill level
Repairing now gives a portion of the amount repaired as experience to the relevant skill
Added Alchemist Shears to blacksmithing
Added a new set of chainmail to blacksmithing - Witch Hunter's gear (Magic Resistant Chain)
New weapons have been added, and divided by max and lowest percentage of damage. Cheapest weapons will have the lowest amount of damage, capping at 20%. As the weapons get better, they get more expensive, but you have a guaranteed minimum amount of damage boost.
Arrows shot while mounted now have greatly reduced velocity and damage
You can no longer wear iron armor while mounted
Fixed the odd red scrolling numbers on food
Skills
Added a unique enchantment to enchanting - Experience Boost! Hint: Add a point to unbreaking
Added a unique enchantment to enchanting - Magic Resistance! Hint: One in a trillion
Added a new command to see the skill leaderboards: /sk <skill> top
Added a new fish to a rare biome…
Added several rare and hard to obtain items to fishing tables, making it easier to obtain
Rescaled the grapple-hook range to be more generous than before (up to ~6 blocks from ~1-2)
Rescaled alchemy experience, potions now give exponentially less than before
Added a new herb finding mechanic - use Alchemist’s Shears to find herbs in different places
Alchemist’s fire now has a chance based upon your alchemy skill level to explode on you when tossed
Very skilled lumberjacks may now find they can fell a tree in a single chop with their trusty diamond axe
Trees cut down in any region will now have their leaves decay, regardless of region flags
Added Aengul Eye to mining drops
Rumour has it that a tinker managed to open a nether portal once more, although no one is quite sure where - constructed portals still can’t manage to stay open long enough… Perhaps some investigation is in order.

Personas
Implemented High Elven Racial Buff
Added a new command to view the highest net worth: /money top
Rescaled Dwarven knockback resistance to 20%, up from 15%
Necrolyte speed bonus was increased by 50%
Constructs can no longer ride horses
Constructs, Spectres, and Necrolytes can no longer drink potions
