  1. That was considered for this patch. I thought on the topic for a while - needless to say it wasn't for no reason these changes were implemented. I might revert the change to this in a future patch if horses seem too weak.

  3. Evening LotC’ers. Here are the patch notes for the next patch; LotC 4.5.1 Some of you may wonder: NEW MAP!? and the answer is… not quite. Due to the rapidly approaching dissolution of Nexus-Core the Nexus patchnote system is now going out of commission. We will now, from this point forward, be updating the global patch numbers (e.g. - 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5) as patches and content roll out This update will be slated to go live later tomorrow, after the warclaim is all finished. There will be some scheduled downtime immediately after for 5-10 minutes to make sure everything is functioning as intended. Crafting Time between repairs now takes into account skill level Repairing now gives a portion of the amount repaired as experience to the relevant skill Added Alchemist Shears to blacksmithing Added a new set of chainmail to blacksmithing - Witch Hunter's gear (Magic Resistant Chain) New weapons have been added, and divided by max and lowest percentage of damage. Cheapest weapons will have the lowest amount of damage, capping at 20%. As the weapons get better, they get more expensive, but you have a guaranteed minimum amount of damage boost. Arrows shot while mounted now have greatly reduced velocity and damage You can no longer wear iron armor while mounted Fixed the odd red scrolling numbers on food Skills Added a unique enchantment to enchanting - Experience Boost!   6. Important: This is what you need to do and you'll get your items back, You need to go to the old auction house. It's still there. As expected, the people moving the CT didn't realize fully how auctionhouses/banks worked so they left it there. This is what you're looking for. Go to this location, the location of the old ct, turn left and follow the torches until you find the next sign. There, at that location, you need to type /auctionhouse claim and/or any relevant commands. Do not put auctions up. This auctionhouse will be deleted after the claims have been made.

I just realized that it's actually not in the drop table, I sat here for a good 15 minutes doing math, thinking "oh, it's 1/10000, that must explain why no one's gotten it" only to realize it's simply not in the drop table. Alrighty... I'll add it, and probably lower the rest of the rarities to account for the additional one
  9. There are two possible causes; 1. LotC's default texture pack. go into your options and disable this first. 2. We do some slight packet manipulation. It's really not a lot, not as much as it use to be, but it could potentially be the problem. If this is the case, then... well, I dont really know how to help you. It'll be up to you to discover the issue.

  14. Your issue is not caused by NoCheatPlus. Likely, as the post before me mentioned, it is either one of the other plugins stopping something or issues with handling items with additional values.
  15. Obelisk does not replace spigot in the slightest. Obelisk has it's own internal Plugin (we call them Modules) loader, much like spigot has, but it in no way shape or form replaces spigot. Obelisk is still a "plug-in" Not quite what you were thinking about. This means we can easily add new recipes into the game for players to make. Crafting times might have some changes with the new crafting system, but at the moment don't expect huge disappearances of crafting times We aren't replacing professions. Crafting is currently based off of an internal nexus function, most/all menus you see/use to craft at stations are Nexus at it's work, but hooking into skills. What this means is we'll be giving all the crafting stations and whatnot a shiny clean interface with potential shiny new options. Experience won't change.

      Having some odd "fringe" issues with skins unloading so it might not be on the server tonight.

      Scratch that! Was just a process happening too quickly, it (seems) to be in fully functional order! I think I'll work on adding some new features to them over the next hour or so and hopefully see it on by the 12 pm restart!

  19. I have a balance update on the horizon which addresses most of this. I am well aware of the issues, but I plan on approaching PvP with a proper mindset and set of ideals (and likely post-war) before I do a large overhaul (which is certainly in the books)
  20. Pikes are on the plan because horses are (after personal review) on the stronger end of the spectrum. I have no plans for new weapon types past pikes at this stage.
  21. On the todo list, a bit further down. I do plan on implementing them (just not yet.)
  22. I haven't reviewed it, but it's (first impressions) harvesting herbs from grass in a variety of biomes using appropriate tools. Different biomes = different herbs.
