  1. Okay, it's definitely not because of a length restriction. Viewing this post, which is much longer than yours... And has no strikethrough. So I have a feeling that you have some sort of weird client-side setting going on, or that it's simply specific to you. I'd try to get a hold of Tythus/Tech to just help you out with your own post, although another test you could do would be to copy and paste it here and see if the strikethrough applies in this topic.
  2. Maybe Tythus just wanted to play a joke on you. Hah... I'll take a look and see if this has happened anywhere else. So even during editing, those sections are not striked through (because there is a strikethrough option), but as soon as you post it, it starts striking at the same point every time?
  3. Change is change. Good, or bad, sometimes having something different is simply fresh. Word.

  4. This is an interesting idea. Of course, any-and-all regular players can apply for a creature application now, but perhaps giving the more respected and well-known role-players special dibs for new ET or LT mobs? I think a particularly good idea would be to have these role-players bring some of the long-dead wiki creatures back to life. We actually have a lot of lore and creatures on the wiki, but I don't think anyone does much with them (besides the ET). Nice idea! Maybe we develop it a little more and it will land in the right hands
  5. Those of you that have had thoughts about Dwarves & Magic, take a look: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/132442-dwarfs-and-magic/page-4#entry1273492

  6. Maybe formalize your ideas a bit more and then post them in server feedback? I really like your Mineshaft idea. It seems like it would be a cool edition, make fast travel slightly more interesting.
  7. These are very excellent! I'm really impressed! Keep it up, it'll definitely take you a long way.
  8. I'll bring this up to Jistuma. Telanir gets back in a week, as well.
  9. After hearing word of this heated argument, the Elder Gobo Brunhyldir narrows his eyes. "Nub... Nawt agein. Me hab delt wid azh civil wagh... Not anudda azh. Me hab confidenz dat tings weyl work owt, bud if dey nub..." He sighs, returning once again to a hill to meditate on the thought.
  10. Clarification to Orc heights, take another look https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/133266-amending-orc-heights/

      Up to the Orc, really

  11. Brunhyldir, after reading the letter this Gorkil has left, grunts. He passes by it, saying to himself, "Tiks chaynge."
  12. Many opinions were given on the topic of Orcish heights, and after discussing with the Lore team and polling the Orcs, we've come to a decision. Of course, thanks to the glorious AlpineAl for bringing this issue to light. Without him, I don't know what we would have done. Rulg, brudda. I. The taller an Orc is, the more his/her posture will be hunched (varying hunch). This can be role-played out at the discretion of the player, but know that Orcs pushing the boundaries of their height are very likely to have some variety of posture problems. The following heights are if the Orc/Goblin/Olog is standing straight. i.e. an Orc standing at the max of 8ft would probably have a hunch, NOT be hunched at 8ft but really stand taller. II. Average Goblin height is from 4ft to 6ft, with 6ft being the absolute max. III. Average Orc height is from 6ft to 8ft, with 8ft being the absolute max. IV. Average Olog height is from 8ft to 10ft, with 10ft being the absolute max. Thanks for contributing and reading! EDIT: Updated in the wiki as well.

  20. ((A little present for you. Enjoy! I didn't attempt the accent, but I liked the post. Hopefully you're not too deeply offended. Click here for narration))
  21. ((For the orange voice, I actually reversed the track, added a high reverb, and then reversed the track back to normal, resulting in that ethereal-sounding leadin effect. For the blue voice, I added an echo to the track, but the echo is extremely close to the original voice (the delay is only about .04 seconds). That results in the robot-sounding voice. Both of those tracks also have multiple pitches, equalization, bass/treble boosts, etc.))
