  1. *A bird lands in your mailbox saying* I will buy it all plus a small bonus
  2. Im a bit sad to see the floating items one wont be making a return. To me seeing all those items on the blocks gave cities a sense of activity, they gave an impression of having many more people in the place than there actually were. Oh well, at least I can start making money again.
  3. *Reposts the application and turns to Olaf and says* Fight me in the arena then if you think I'm weak.

  6. When a player fails pick pocketing maybe a message could be given to them that if they run they can be PvPed?
  7. Do fun videos that actually attract people to the server like antag events and PVP battles.
  8. *Mili sits in the Dreadfort and wonders how it was taken without soldiers taking it. He then gets ready for a fight and sends off some birds*
  9. *hears Ellsia and says over her shouts* I would like it to he known that I always did my best to protect Dwarves from Flays.
  10. *The gates to the council chambers swing open with a loud boom. Standing in the doorway is a Dwarf. He appears quite old, he has a scar on his face that looks mostly healed. He wears a well crafted set of mail and a sword in a worn sheathe. He has many scars and carries himself as a warrior. Behind him carried by his servants are many chests. They contain minas, ingots of gold, iron, and other ores. They contain redstone dust, suits of armor and many other things. He then begins speaking* 'onorable Lords o' de Kingoms 'o Urguan. Many o' ye will nae remember me. I was here and gone before many o' ye were born. Me name is Mili Irongut, brother to 'iebe Irongut. I was banished due to digging tunnels in de capital city dat Orcs found and used to dere benefit. Dat was a long time ago. Recently I have decided that I could return to de Dwarves, come back 'ome of ye will. I ask that you accept me apologies fer me actions and allow me to return to de great kingdom o' Urguan.
  11. I want there to be a system of spawning them and them despawning if you are on them when you log out so people don't just see a horse in the middle of Abresi and butcher it.
  12. Most bandits don't want to kill people but rather take things, the reason the victims end up dying is because in over a year RPing as a villain I can count the amount of times on one had someone has just given it up. Almost everyone tres to fight.
  13. That may be true now but is only true bow because it requires next to nothing to kill someone if you have time. With this skill system I don't think it will be a problem because people won't kill people as much.
  14. It is almost never an option. 99% of people will fight.
  15. What about a small compromise? Allow the bandit to select the 20% of the items he wishes to get? I thought that the system wasn't to make lees combat but rather to make combat quicker so it feels that there is much less. I really appreciate your time in answering my questions, makes me feel this is the right direction for LotC.
  16. With introducing this system very few people will actually become bandits anymore. It simply won't be profitable. That's my biggest complaint.
  17. I don't understand why the amount of items drop would be 80-90% less than what they have. It isn't because I'm item hungry I ask this. It just seems to ruin the main goal of bandits who rob armor and weapons. They have a very good chance the main goal they tried to get by robbing someone will dissapear. I think it should be a system a bit like Runescapes where there are graves. Anyone could access those graves though. I strongly disagree with the items magically vanishing from a villain point of view.
  18. I disagree with only 10% of your items being dropped on your death. That seems a big discouragement to bandits. For example, I could see someone with a set of armor and know my set is probably on it's last leg. I then try robbing him. We fight, he dies, I don't get the armor. Why would it simply disappear? As an alternative to the current system I suggest after killing someone a chest GUI pops up with all there items in it. You take why you want and leave the rest. There could also be a money pouch represented by an ink sack that shows the amount of money a player loses on death. Say 20%. The bandit has the option of taking it or leaving the "body" there with all the items he didn't want.
  19. I hope that after this poll there will be another one without Gaius' system so we will have a more definite winner. To people saying "We are an RP server". Yes we are. We are a MINECRAFT RP server. So why not use the mechanics of the game which we all RP through.
  20. If you want the story, I was putting LotC-Core on the server for a brief period of time to test out a few things, more than 90% of it was disabled entirely, but for some reason the temporary damage changes DID go thorugh. I would have removed it yesterday if my internet was working, my DNS lookup server broke so I have to go ahead and fix it now which may take a few days -Telanir The PvP changes were not meant to be added.
  21. *A bird carries a letter to Tyrex stamped with the Flayed Man of House Blackmont* You have been accepted into House Blackmont. You will be placed into my squad, currently led by Arryyn until I return from travels. Come to the Dreadfort and seek out at Blackmont to begin your training.
