  6. For mining there is a mining world which you can find at many places in the map including the temple. To build join a settlement or nation. Most nations have houses you can buy/rent with minas which you can make easily from voting or setting up a shop/selling on the road. You can also make friends and find a plot for you to settle on your own! As for roleplaying, do not do what you would do IRL. Do what the character you created would do, make sure you Roleplay your race correctly and you should be fine. Good luck on LOTC!, if you need any help feel free to PM a AP Team/GM or meh.
  7. Farewell Onslaughted, even though I didn't know you very well until late Asulon, last map you were fun to hang around with the Dwarves and great to pvp with. I loved those battles we did and our epic Scotland Forever charges. Ill miss you and if you ever want to hang out feel free to come in the Dwarves TS like you did today. Best of luck to you and I hope you have safe travels in the future. -Grungron "Zuthmerak" Irongut ((James27049))
  8. I 'ave tu disagree. T'e last toime 'n Ire'eart was Grand Marshal t'at did t'is was Kjell n 'e tried to start a rebellion tu undermine 'iebes rule 'n Asulon. 'e 'ad dun not'in wrong 'n was a gud King. I am nay sayin t'at I dun trust ya, but t'e king need power over t'e marshal to stop rebellion. I respect ye fir wanting tu make sure t'ere was peace between our clans 'n ope ye 'ave a prosperous ruling 'as leader ov t'e legion, but t'e king needs tu 'ave da power to 'elp stop rebellion wit' in da kingdom itself.
  9. Deckolo is an amazing person and great RPer. He is very eager to help new people to the server as well as stop player conflict/arguement. I believe he would make a great addition to the GM team and I hope he continually performs his job as an AT member and LOTC staff member with pride. +1 ( Sorry if I'm late :P)
  10. Id loike to t'ank Fimlin fir retracting t'is act 'as many ov t'e Ironguts 'as well as mahself 'ave contributed much tu t'e legion 'n wis' tu keep former gloreh 'as well 'as serve de Nation officaleh wit'in da Legion.
  11. Tank ye for de position. I 'ope tu furt'er da Dwarves knowledge 'n aneh way I can. Repairs from de accident in t'e library will be repaired 'as suun 'as possible. ((Waiting of for fimlin to get on for repairs/perms))
  12. -{The Library of The Dwedmar}- As you enter the Dwarven Library, you sense the peculiar smell of old, dusty books enter your nostrils. Looking around the room, large stacks of books, both new and ancient, line the walls as far as the eye can see, lit up only by the dancing flames of melted candles of stearin. An old, grey-bearded dwarf with glasses sits in the corner behind a counter, his eyes slowly following the motion of the quill in his hand, as it leaves a trail of ink inside the book in front of him. Only the faint crackle from a nearby brazier can be heard, and the occasional murmur of studying dwarves. Here you may learn from the past, and the uncover the limitless knowledge contained in these halls. Dwarven History Dwarven Lore Battles & War Guilds & Military Dwarven Scripture Economy of Urguan Poems Tales of Dwarves Tales & Legends Writings of Foreign Lands -{The Tomes}- Of all books contained within the great dwarven library, four particular massive tomes are the most important to the Kingdom of Urguan. These gold-inlaid books remain under constant protection by the Legion's most stalwart Ironbreakers, locked and stored away behind an iron-reinforced door that only the Lords, High Remembrancer & Grand King may access. Only those with their permission may touch them. The Book of Grudges The Book of Grudges is kept for the sole purpose of remembrance of those that have wronged us Dwedmar so, that we may see to that their mistakes are corrected, and remember their dishonourable acts. Once a grudge is placed, the only way for it to be removed is by the completion of the grudge. When a grudge is removed from the book, it is to be crossed out with a single line, so that it is still legible. Grudges can be written by any of Urguan-kind, for any purpose that is big or small, although one must receive permission from one of the Lords or the Grand King to write. The Book of Law The Book of Law contains all official laws and customs of The Kingdom of Urguan. It is Urguan's Will that no one but the Grand King and his Lords are to lay their fingers on the foundation of his descendants nation. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/103849-the-articles-of-urguan/ The Book of History The Book of History contains the whole history of the Dwedmar, written down and expanded throughout the ages by different generations of loyal descendants of Urguan. It is constantly updated with new lore, yet all which is added must be permitted by the Grand King and his Lords. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/109630-the-history-of-the-grand-kingdom-of-urguan/ The Book of Art The Book of Art is undoubtedly the most intricate and beautiful of all the four tomes. It contains various sketches and paintings from creative and skilled Dwedmar artists, collected over a long period of time, some dating back to the oldest of days, when Urguan still walked the lands. http://tinyurl.com/oyecjhj -{The Remembrance Guild}- The Keepers of Lore, The Conveyors of Knowledge, The Preservers of Memories These are all names used to describe the Remembrance Guild of The Kingdom of Urguan. Knowledge is a powerful tool, and only the wisest will prove superiority over all others, in the closing days of what we call the world. It is thus that the most important task of the guild, is not only to preserve and study what is already written, but to convey knowledge and truth for the greater of the Kingdom. The Remembrancers of Urguan venture far and wide in this world, revealing ancient lore and discovering lost ways. All is written down and preserved, so the nation may prosper from the knowledge in the future. As the old saying goes: "It is only through history one can learn from their mistakes". The duties of the Remembrance Guild are many, although the most note-worthy are: To preserve all lore and knowledge in the possession of the Dwedmar To venture out and uncover new lore & knowledge To write down all lore & history for future generations To convey knowledge to fellow Dwedmar, and educate new Dwedmar who join the Kingdom, so that they may know of our ways. The Remembrance Guild is still under reformations, and more duties and responsibilities may arise in the feature. Each week members are required to deposit a book to a library where the High Remembrancer shall review and seek fit a reward for how good the published work is. Then the book shall be added to the Library. -{Roster of the Remembrance Guild}- High Remembrancer The Overseer, He whose life is dedicated to the prosperity of the Remembrance Guild, and the education of Dwedmar. High Remembrancer - Zahrer Irongrinder ((Josh3738)) The Remembrancers The Learned, Those who know of the old and present, the ones Gifted by Ogradhad himself. Remembrancer Librarian - Spriggar Ireheart ((Homijoe)) Remembrancer Prophet - Lori Ireheart ((Aegis_Lima)) Remembrancer Loremaster - Balek Irongut ((Hobolympic)) Remembrancer Record-Keeper - Kardel Irongut ((Ziko99)) Remembrancer Historian - Fimlin Grandaxe ((worldiswar28)) The Librarians Scribes who have proven themselves of holding great knowledge but yet are unable to fulfil a Remembrancer position at this current time of day and age. Librarian Baruk-Ghaz ((Florishier)) Librarian Lathros Irongrinder ((9coolman9)) Librarian Grungron Irongut ((James27049)) The Scribes Those who dedicate their lives to the art of writing, those who save fading knowledge , so others may learn, and those who strive to one day become Learned. Scribe Theodrik Grandaxe ((Nitro821)) Scribe Sharr Irongut ((Lordbobby123)) Scribe Ognar Grandaxe ((Meanking)) Scribe Fili Grandaxe ((Cpt_Noobman)) Honored Scribe Samsung Irongrinder ((Kowaman)) Scribe Falent Ireheart ((MonkeyFaceGamer)) Scribe Azgul Grandaxe ((Zezimus)) Scribe Tog Irongrinder ((Cpt_Shoelace)) Scribe Dunrid Grandaxe ((wolfkite1)) The Honored Ones Those who in life have accomplished extraordinary feats in the Guild, and those who in death will be remembered for it. Kirrekith Grandaxe Kilgrim Irongut Bazian Grandaxe Wulfric Grandaxe Dominic Irongut Dun Irongut -{Recruitment}- All who seek to uncover lost knowledge, convey truth to the people of Urguan, or write down knowledge that will last for the ages to come, should most certainly find the courage to apply for The Remembrance Guild. If you are yet unsure, and that the Remembrance Guild has piqued your interest, do not hesitate to speak with the High Remembrancer, or any guild member for more information. In order to join, all applicants must fill out a form and bring it to the High Remembrancer. You will find said form below:
