*Saleia nods to Khel.* "Marayla, that is what we need." *She then turns to Vhaer as he speaks, a frown appears on her face.* "Currently we have peace, but peace is a fragile thing. In times of peace, we should prepare for times of war, that we may not be crushed when it comes. Of course peace is something to relish, but that doesn't mean that we should ignore that war is a very likely occurance. I don't want to be crushed the first time we are attacked."
-
*Saleia scowls at Aravel.* "Comparing us to Mali'Aheral? This isn't about culture, this is about safety. And yes, of course it has to do with feeling we are better than Mali'Ame, as they do nothing to protect themselves and their kin. But laying down at their fate. If moving to Leumaelin means that we will need to protect them as well, it means protecting more people with the same amount of warriors, or maybe one or 2 more. If it comes to a fight, which I see happen, seeing Oren's nature, we can't also protect them."
-
"That might all be very well, but I don't trust that Oren will come to Leumaelin's aid if the city is attacked, especially not if they're attacked themselves at the same time. They're much more likely to let the city be destroyed and then take over the land themselves. This 'treaty' is more something that will keep us from pushing them away and keep us weak. I won't trust th-" *Saleia get's interrupted as she get's passed Goroth's note, she tilts her head as she reads it. Looking up, she turns to Goroth, speaking again.* "This seems like a reasonable declaration. But I want to have added that the place must be defendable. I don't want something we need to abandon at the first possible attack. If it is from Oren, another nation of Anthos, or these supposed creatures from the north. We need a place that will not fall."
-
*Saleia nods at Vhaer in agreement. Her gaze moves around the circle again and she moves a strand of silver hair out of her face before speaking up in reaction to what was said.* "I understand your trail of thought, though understanding our cousins is one thing. The goal was protection, was it not? Then how would this help us protect ourselves? Ever heard of the saying that a chain is as strong as the weakest link? If we will be joining up with the Mali'Ame, and they don't do a thing to protect themselves we have a lot of weak links in our chain, and it will be broken easily."
-
*Around that time another Mali'Ker joins the group. Her blue eyes quickly going around the people gathered. She just managed to catch those last words of Khel and tilts her head, frowning slightly.* "How so? I find it curious that we should live in a city that is so scarcely populated, is impossible to defend and we should join up with people who rather lay down than that they fight for their own rights. Why would we do such a thing? I am not going to defend their homes if they don't repay such an act." *Saleia Shadeleaf crosses her arms, her gauntlets reflecting the little light that is there.* "Explain."

Madness Begins Deep Inside The Hollows
Yuln replied to Truthseeker83's topic in Anthos Roleplay Archive
*Yuln paces through the Hallows, tears streaming over her face... and freezing on her cheeks. Her icy glowing eyes scanning the surroundings as she looks for an exit. It hurt her to leave Vallel like this, one the was so dear to her, but she had to eat.* *The Fjarriauga clenches her fists, a hiss escaped from between her teeth. It was all Ambros' fault, Ambros' and Kalenz. They would pay... Yet she had no idea if Ambros was even alive still, all she had were confusing memories: * *Ambros had led them down into the Hallows, he showed them the mage prison and then... Then things began to fall away; They crossed a bridge of glass, through a room filled with bookshelves; They crossed a pool, in order not to get wet, she had to pass molten metal, panick grabbed her; Another room of bookshelves, things were floating; Ambros laughing madly, Blundermore speaking words of blame and disapproval; Vallel opening books, the same madness as Ambros' filling her eyes; Ambros sending a pulse of... Mana at Blundermore, knocking him back; Her, running at Ambros, trying to stab him in the back of his neck; She was flying through the air and then everything went black.* "Oh, Vallel, why wouldn't you come with me, sis?" *Yuln mumbles, endless sadness filling her voice as she wanders through the ice caverns, her hunger growing as time progressed.* *Kalenz would pay, he was at fault for Vallel's current situation. Yuln's face twisted from an expression of sadness into one of hate. The glow in her eyes seemed to grow colder. She had kept from eating Mali'Aheral out of a principal, but this was where it would change. Kalenz didn't deserve mercy, he never would.* *Yuln stood before the end of the cave, a wall of snow. As she approached it, suddenly daylight flooded the cavern. She blinked, her eyes slowly adjusting to the new level of light. As she continued her way she heard a low rumble, spining on her heels she saw that the wall of ice had closed behind her. Next her gaze moved up, she stood in the bottom of a ravine, the walls of snow and ice, daylight pierced through the slit at the top of the tall, narrow cave. Next thing: How to get there.* -
(( And Yuln is still not on the list ))

*Leyun'Fiyem sits in the library, she sits on the edge of the upper section of the central chamber, leaning against a pillar. Her legs are crossed and she is reading a book. A slight grimace is pulled around her lips, but further she looks normal. She makes sure the messages re-appear each time one takes them down.*
-
*The messages re-appear shortly after.*

*A piece of parchment is put up upon the noticeboard.* Greetings, Karin'ayla, That is what I say to those who were once important to me. To those who I worked so hard for. You do not accept me amongst your numbers anymore, for all that I did for the Mali'Aheral race. I sheltered one of your own, raised her as a child of my own. I gave birth to one of your own, giving life to a blessed Mali'Aheral. Not only that. In Haelun'or I spent years constructing houses, walls and other for the city. I renovated the walls and added turrets that we may be protected better. We, yes, because then I was one of yours. Then in the enclave of Haelun'or. Once we arrived in Anthos, the first thing I set on doing is working out the designs for Lin'Evaral, the city you all live in now. The very stones this paper is hung upon, the very stones of the house you live in, the very stones our, no, your library, laboratory and walls are built of. They all are children of my mind. Look around and watch what came from my mind. However, in the very room that I designed, I was declared impure. I was one that had betrayed Maehr'sae Hiylun'eyha, branded I was to be, marked for life with my crime. I was marked for loving one of our own, one of the same gender. A crime that was known to our, at that time, Okarir'tir and had actually been known to him for many years. Indeed, a crime of the past, that made me be judged in the present. Apparantly I had been impure all those years. Haelun'or was partially constructed by an impure. Not only that. Look around, observe the stones this paper is hung upon, the stones of your house, the stones of your library, laboratory and wall. These are all children of the mind of an impure. Is that what you wish to live in? A city that came from one who is impure? However, does that mean you can retain your purity? The entire city is drenched with my mind, my prescence. The prescence of an impure. Keep that in mind when you walk the streets, you're walking over a part of me. My mind will be in those buildings, in those houses, in those walls. It will be forever, after my death and in my life. Van'ayla those who once mattered to me, I hope I have you something to feed your thoughts, since that is something you Always seem to appreciate. -Vallel'Yuln Aeléyèlsa

Recovering The Ancient Tongue Of The Elves.

"eyr fenn ito fin'mamira." Would be that... elven has no capital in the beginning of the sentence and mira (or mamira: very warm) is an adjective so it goes behind 'fin'. -

Yuln replied to Sporadic's topic in Elven Realms & Culture
Well, little fox is Vulnii, right? Then any adjective comes behind the main word, so that would make little black fox Vulnii'barbu. Then when you make something from somewhere or something/someone (my own ideas, not sure if it is exactly true, but this way it works as an adjective) you put the main word before the place it is from. So Vulnii'ame. Then you can only have one ' in a word, which is Always the last one. So this makes Vulnii'barbu'ame -> Vulniibarbu'ame (Little black fox from the forest). -

If you want it to mean 'father of (a) little fox' you can make it Maln'vulnii. -

Hmmm, family words indeed, I'll bring it up in the language chat, see if it's still alive. -
Which two islands?

Yup, this needs to happen. However maybe the name of the T1 ghost should be changed, for if I remember correctly. In LotC lore Phantasms are emotions that are created by illusionists.

Thanks, I'll edit it. ^.^
