So they can say goodbye to everyone else on the server who they couldn't to at the time and because its the last thing they may do on LoTC.

Telling the community you're leaving might be good for those who want to know why you're leaving but new community members will be influenced by you and seeing that someone is leaving puts negative thoughts into their head such as 'this server is dying' or 'if he left this server must be bad' etc. I honestly think if someone needed to let his friends in the community know why he is leaving he can simply message them, puts less stress on the community and causes less tr...
