    I may be an idiot, but I just found out that we are not the descendants of neanderthals. They were a completely different species of human that went extinct. They were stronger, sturdier, better hunters, better fighters, and slightly less intelligent than modern day humans. If they'd survived, they could have been orcs, man.

      Not slightly less intellegient. They simply did not have the intellegience to adapt or create tools. So far less intellegient that Homo sapiens at the time. Meaning we clearly are superior. There is a reason they went extinct.

      But they could make fire, which means they had to have used tools. They just couldn't adapt when all their food left because of the climate change.
