Is this just a problem for me, or is everyone not able to connect to LOTC Teamspeak. It seems to always be down. I can never use it anymore. It would make be feel better if i knew some explanation. Like someones computer is broken, or that they ran out of money... but right now it just seems like Teamspeak is down because there is a conspiracy and the entire world hates me! Anyone else having similar issues? Also, is there any alternate TS that people are using. Sometimes when the TS is down a temporary one is hosted by a generous player or GM.

This is not a debate about Minecraft mechanics. Pretend that we weren't using Minecraft and that having tiny bits of stuff was actually possible in the game, like it might be in RP or in real life. Your input of Minecraft logic was interesting, but unnecessary for this situation. If connected many small pieces together is not plausible in RP then I understand and would want this post moved into the "denied" section. If no-one is interested then this idea can be tossed. If making this new material ICly is possible, I would want someone to invent it RPly. I was originally going to make a post about plastic, but I decided that changing the molecular formation of oil was too complex for our time period. I thought this spam/bologna/wine cork/sedimentary rock material would be an OK replacement.

Sorry for any misconception. But Adobe bricks are a material created by indigenous peoples of the Americas in California. The brick itself consisted of clay, sand, and plant fibers. A similar concept to what I was suggesting. I have no idea why they named the computer application after this Eco-friendly brick. I had assumed most people had already heard of it but then I remembered that not all human beings grew up in southern California. ( Brain fart )

I have thought of a material that could be used in many ways. In a way it is an alloy, of non metals. You see if I got an experienced mage, to break stone, clay, dirt, cloth, and wood into bits smaller than grains of sand, possibly on a molecular level, And then combine them, it would create a dry brittle substance that would be cheap to make once harnessed correctly. This material could also be created in some sort of compression chamber. Forcing the molecules to form together. For now lets just call the material Adobe. Water might weigh down some of the components of the materials, making it expand or contort as well as possibly loosening the bonds between the elements. Adobe is both brittle and slightly malleable. it can be bent to a small extent but once put past its breaking point, the part will snap in half. Similar to a baby carrot. It is very difficult to fracture a baby carrot without snapping it in half. Most weapons could easily penetrate the Alloy. Adobe is not suited for combat. Another downside of Adobe is that if damaged, parts cannot be easily mended and are better off being scrapped to make new parts. If not fused correctly, Adobe will crumble like sand. It would weigh whatever its original elements did. It would look something like this This is an image of a sedimentary/metamorphic rock. Imagine the different colors of this rock were actually different materials, such as wood, Cloth, stone, clay, dirt. It would feel very similar to the biodegradable flower pots you may have seen IRL Only that it would be much thicker and quite a bit stronger. You could have golems be created with it. Or possibly have it be a new, lightweight ammo for Catapults. It just seems like a way you can make something stable, that doesn’t have to be Metal, stone, or wood. Sturdy like stone. Light weight like wood. and cheaper than metal. I have a been thinking of a few names but have not decided. I will not pursue any further if the community is not interested. I’d like any input you guys have on this. Constructive criticism is welcome. Feel free to say its a dumb idea, or that It needs to be reimagined in any way.

Maybe there should be some rule in place. That one nation can not the the only target of a raid group. Like for it to be against server rules to raid the same place 3 times, without raiding someone else. Like Lima said Orcs raid " Everyone ", meaning that other nations should be raided as well. The term "Why can't we be friends" Isn't really an option, but I like that because angry nations makes good RP. The only problem is that historically, nations WILL fall. But due to it being a simulated RP server, there are tiny rules that must be followed. A good solution for the Conclave could just be luck. If some sort of natural disaster were to happen in our favor, it could save the nation, and bring us back into spirit. I would like to add some ooc input on defencive building of the conclave. A moat and drawbridge would help a lot. If not that then at least a hot oil cauldron. Also in terms to RP difficulty, I feel like I cannot RP my character anymore. during the last raid I was killed, but because I was a Malinorian refugee I had all my stuff on me. I do not have a house and my character is sciocialy inept. Currently his can only reuse phrases he used before his head trauma. I feel I should just kill him off now. I really like how Archealon has developed over time, but I fear his time may be up. Any input on what I can do. (EDIT: Text color was screwed up)

This is not a rage post, im just simply stating my opinion. Sorry for spelling. The spell check for forum posts in broken for me. ------ SERVER FEELINGS--------- ( important part) The conclave keeps getting raided, and I know that all server rules say that this is ok. But its not fun anymore. I understand that raids are a real rp things that happens IRL, as well as fallings of nations. That kind of stuff happens all the time in character. But feeling helpless in a virtual simulation seems just pointless. I feel many people might be leaving and the elven nation would be lost. VV This is my favorite rule VV Consistently depriving another player (or players) of their fun for your own personal gain or amusement, even after receiving appropriate warnings, is punishable if deemed necessary by the moderation teams. This may also be considered harassment. Essentially, don't be a troublesome player that only plays to annoy others or be a nuisance. Now I know that we might not be being raided just to make us mad, but it certainly feels that way. I personaly see no way to fix this without severly breaking server lore. I speak for myself and I hope several other people. It just seems to me, the elfs have fallen as a nation. ------ PERSONAL THOUGHTS----------------( not so important) To me the elfs mean a lot. because Its the one race I can feel at home. I find the dwarfs and humans to be difficult to be around. And certain orcs... are abusive to me over teamspeak. The Kha and Mori don't realy count because they just piggyback of the elven nation. Without the elfs, I have no character to play. in depth why I dont want to rp any of the other races or situations Nation of oren Pigheadedness, my input seemed to have no effect on what the nation of oren did. They killed random peasents IC and then complained OOCly why they didn't have any farmers left. I never was welcomed really, I mean I got a rp job and never got paid. slayed monsters untill I ran out of sticks to make swords... It would have been ok if there were some middle class people. Because a large number of them are royaly, OOCly they feel no need to think about other players. I could RP an elf that lives in Oren but they would not repsect me. Similar to how America treated people of darker skined people back in the 60's Dwarfern nation. Were is your capitol. you change it every 3 weeks. I can't pronounce anythings you say and you only ever come online for battles that you seem to metagame your way into. You are never online and all your roads are coated with snow so I constantly get lost. Just no... Orc nation. You guys were great... a few years ago. But then certain GM's started baning random orcs at spawn, and was an extream **** to all of the orcs oocly. After that, you all became grouchy and unpleasant to be around. Abusive, and hardly any of you stood up for me. It seemed like all the orcs in power hated me. Other options A small village in the wilds... oh right. yes I'd get tons of Rp there. A monk... yes, my monk app would be accepted instantly with MY reputation on the server. A merchant... Mm..Hmm yes I could sell all the crops I had without any permissions to farm anywere. What do you suggest I do?

(( This war was so... Oh god. Like dwarfs and humans sat outside the gates for 20 minuets. And everyone was confused if they were attacking of defending. Even the dwarfs and Humans. Then Finally someone opened the gate and they all rushed in. The entire thing was OOC. There was no Broadcast saying stand down, or that Malinor had surrendered. It just happened. I sat there and saw the entire thing. Soooooo Many people metagamed as well. Listening on TeamSpeak to control what they were shouting in character. If in RP I was told that we had surrendered and the gates were left down the entire time. that would have been OK. The people on this server don't communicate with each other. We need to agree on things OOCly before we can have conflict IC. I was very disappointed of this battle and expected more of it. But no. instead, just always, the Humans and Dwarfs had to show up and metagame, and spam, and do all that stuff they do. I hope someone can agree with me that this wasn't really fun for the players locked inside the city.))

I am so deeply incredably sorry for this post, as I assume there is some rule against it. But I was looking through me profile and tumbled apun my Warnings. Now I cannot complain I did some things on the server that should be punished but I cannot remember all of them. 4 or these Forum warnings were put under the "Other" catagory, and did not leave any notes. The 4 warnings follow 16-December 11 Other 1 Nero 14-August 12 Other 1 Braxis 06-October 12 Other 1 Cappy 11-January 13 Other 1 Cappy I do know that all of these must have been for a reason, but because it was not specified, Morarly I feel no punishment. If these warnings could have any aditional information added to them I would be very greatful. Also to add at the time Cappy was having a OOC attack on all players that play orcs. I feel the two Warnings by Cappy may have been overreacting to whatever it was I did. In adition. I also recieced a warning from Volutional for spamming, Which I did in fact do... to an extent. The First time I posted a post on the Orc RP that simply said " Krug" Over and over again. It was removed instantly. I reposted it and it was removed instantly, this time with a warning and a Poke that I did not save or screen-shot If my memory servs me correctly the poke stated somthing like this: "Garet867, please do not spam any more Krug posts anymore, If you continue to do this, there will be consiquences" Being the smartass I am I took this literaly and concluded that I could only be punished if I spammed the word " Krug" Over and over again. So in responce I made another post that said. " The Orcs suddenly changed there chant to somthing just as amazing as Krug. CACTUS!" Then contineuing to spam the word cactus on the post. I recieved another warning from volutional that said. "Please do not spam, I have warned you already. Since spamming grants you two warning points, I'm giving you three for directly ignoring my moderation. Since you directly resisted any attempt to stop, and used it as a tool to mock my authority, I will now revoke your posting until you've actually learned from your mistake. Let's say... 24 hours." My queston for this is that I would like to have that last warning be for trolling, and not for spamming. I was specificaly told I could only get another warning point is I spammed the word Krug. I did not continue spamming the word Krug. If this is a silly request please ignore this post and mark is as completed/remove from forum. I am realy sorry for the inconveniance. (also spellcheck stoped working for lots thread creations again.)

It is I, Garet of the eigh thundred and sixty seventh. Others may know me as Jarzun, the gorilla furred, insect that lived in his hive near the farms. However you may or may not know me, you should know I have saved the skins of almost 80% of the characters I played and intend to see how the server has improved over the past year. I may need to be briefed on the orcish language again. for those of you who do not know who I am this is not spam. I am just an old player that hasn’t been on in a long while.
