OOC: Username: Edeldrache Skype: (Pm if you want.) you should have it, but imacng Ideas and Suggestions?: keep up the good work! RP (Humans only, I apologize.): Colony Name: Planet: Rhodius et Melitensis Faction Name: Sovereign Military Order of Malta First Planet Type: 70% land 30% water on surface, but it has a very thick, nearly Venus-like atmosphere and humidity. Varied geography. History: (Assuming it's a bit of a custom nation.) Thorughout the 2040's during the Red Cross Scandals that ruined the name of the international charity, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta began to overtake it in international relief projects and assistance to quickly urbanizing and modernizing nations. By the 2070's it had acquired vast amounts of funds for its projects and efforts across the world, and by the great panic it was as powerful as any of the burgeoning powers. In a grand effort to save those that could most feasibly save humanity, the Order and as many of its constituent volunteers and auxiliary members as it could fit in its new SMOM Lepanto boarded and warped out of the solar system. Its population was therefore made up of its 15,500 Knights, Dames, and House members, 24,000 auxiliaries and other qualified Order personnel, and its 60,500 most active and brightest volunteer corps members. Entry on the ship was limited to Catholics of masters-level learning, a noble pedigree, those already initiated as Knights or Dames of the Order, or those possessing savant-level ability in certain fields. Ten thousand of the volunteer corps members were selected for their ability in survival, engineering, or agricultural fields. It is run as it has always been run, with its Grand Master and Lieutenant the ones in charge, its Knights and Dames of different tiers making up its hierarchy and auxiliaries their subordinates. The warp that the Order took brought them to an empty expanse near a system but not in it, and so it took the Order another two years to set up its colony. ((Reasoning for late entry)) Hierarchy: Grand Master - Lieutenant - 1st Class Knight - 2nd Class Knight - 3rd Class Knight - Auxiliary of the Order - Order Corps Member Of the other planets in their solar system, one is a gas giant and the rest seem to be barren rocks according to initial surveys, and as such the Order has made little effort to expand past its colony. Leader: Grand Master Fra' Jacques d'Amboise, 85th Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta Map location: (Remember, fill a square and send it to me privately.) Randomize me boss.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona? Female snelf profession slave that does nothing but make bows and arrows all day. Woodworker * - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession? Woodworker because it's a female character and I thought it'd be a fun joke. * - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week? Like 475 mina total, and I make like 50 mina a week from voting because of how terrible the key system is. * - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for? I don't spend it on anything. Sometimes buff extorts me for it though. * - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell? Never. * - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it been? No.

Regno d'Italia The Italian North Africa army was to be on its own for the time being, and the generals there knew that the worst thing they could do was wait to starve to death. Instead, the German forces in North Africa are called upon to push with the Italians, and the 400,000 strong army, hopefully with local German support, begins a fast paced attack on the British in Egypt. The attack would be supported by the large amounts of artillery and armored cars already in Africa, and some artillery is actually placed on top of vehicles as tank destroyers. North Africa by itself had low production, if any, and while no new supplies would come in, the army had been preparing for an offensive into Egypt for months anyways. Their goal would be to carve a path through Egypt to the Nile and further to the Suez canal, and they would fight with grim determination - if they failed, Italy had almost no way to save them, but if they could make it to the cities, they could take supplies necessary to a prolonged upkeep in Africa and the Middle East, along with threatening British holdings. In Ukraine the Italian army marches along the coast to the Crimean peninsula, where a methodical approach is set up - heavily bombard Soviet fortifications with long-range artillery for hours to days before launching assaults with well-trained and equipped units. This would minimize Italian casualties and hopefully leave enough marks that the other Axis powers take notice of Italy's assistance. On the home front, propaganda is produced in large quantities to try to gain support for the invasion of the Soviets. In the Italian main, Mussolini's plan that put the army in dire straits begins to turn public opinion further from the Fascist government. King Victor Emmanuel III makes public speeches in various Italian cities of a better future and more than enough money to live well on after the war is over. Production of more escort warships and armaments continue, and the Impero battleship is scheduled to resume construction. A private message from the Italians makes its way to Turkey. -

Regno d'Italia As the British prepare to defend their Maltese lands and Italian planes start to close in on the islands, something strange happens. The planes and invasion fleet suddenly divert course and pass the islands towards Africa. The British scramble had apparently made the Italians second-guess their decision, and instead the various forces and supplies are sent westward and southbound towards Tunis, capital of Italian North Africa. The 900 modern Italian planes are pulled back to the Boot or circumvent to African airfields, and the British air force only finds outdated biplanes and triplanes to fight against. Of the two dreadnoughts shelling Gibraltar, one is sunk and one is heavily damaged, limping back towards the Sardinian navy port. The rest of the Italian navy, pulled back to the safety of ports on the Boot, are upgraded with outdated German radars, and as the Italian army continues to condense many of its officers are sent back to school to get better training, with the Italians asking Germany if the latter could either send officers to train Italians, or the Italians could have officers train under the Germans. Total casualties of the Operation Herkules dodge: 153 Macchi Biplanes 2 Condotierri class light cruisers ~9,000 troops in transport Giovanni Messe is sent across the Mediterranean to act as the Italian North Africa general. He is considered by many to be Italy's single best general, and is accompanied by famous generals such as Mario "Black Beast" Roatta and Annibale "Electric Whiskers" Bergonzoli. Immediately troops begin to build up the Italian North Africa ports and British intelligence confirms that Italy is preparing for an offensive sometime in the near future, with the Italian army in Africa totaling over 400,000, with artillery, light and "medium" tanks, and supply lines/drops being prepared across Italian holdings and towards the border with the British. A message is sent to the Germans, stating that Italy's North Africa army would be prepared to follow Rommel when the order is given. Italian convoys begin to be equipped with small radars and sailing in the dead of night to Tripoli to prevent losses to British fleets. New naval officers and seamen are trained heavily in nighttime operations. Italian planes also begin to be fit with radios. Italian factories continue to be converted, and rifles begin to be constructed in them based on recovered rifles taken from the Greek army, a massive upgrade from the previous 1895 rifles. Automobile factories continue to build new armored cars to properly mobilize the infantry. In regards to the Eastern Front, an Italian army of 3,000 officers and 65,000 men equipped with supplies for the winter, plans for supply lines, and older armored cars is headed by Rodolfo Graziani and crosses through other Axis countries as Italy issues a declaration of war on the Soviet Union. The army would cross into Russia through Romania and Hungary, and Italian military doctrine would show as the army would move slowly enough to prepare supply lines and other plans as it made its way towards Ukraine and the Caucasus to begin the invasion and support the German army from there by advancing to the objective in the Caucasus. The Italian expeditionary corps is fully equipped for logistics and has large amounts of anti-tank guns and artillery, but has only 100 airplanes to its name. -
I think it was the right arm.

Regno d'Italia Benito Mussolini found himself being forced to face the facts. The Italian military, while one of the most advanced in the 30's, had been outclassed by even the Balkans. The Italian biplanes that had been the bulk of their forces at the beginning of the war had been beaten back by the superior Allied monoplanes, and Italian monoplane fighters numbered only 1,400 in total, though Italy had manufactured almost 400 bombers in addition. Italian tanks were light compared to any of the others, and though the army had incredible valor, the troops were undersupplied and leadership was spread thin. The Bersaglieri, Alpini, and Paracadutisti divisions were Italy's best trained, yet even they found themselves barely supplied. Italian tanks were deathtraps for their drivers and the navy had suffered drastically in Taranto, only now recovering. Over thirteen thousand infantry had died in Greece, and fifty thousand more wounded, and the Italians in Africa were only just now surging back with the assistance of Germany. Malta continued to shell Italian convoys and manufacturing was nowhere near the maximum possible. Italy was a young country, so had all the potential in the world, but it would have to capitalize. To capitalize, Mussolini would first have to remove the other Fascists blocking his complete leadership. His Blackshirts invade the homes of various opponents, stealing them away in the black of night and executing them far from civilization. This would give him the opportunity to pass reforms in the interim period, while he was the only real leader of the party, and allow him to place pro-Mussolini leadership in the new positions. On the home front, hundreds of factories are converted from consumer to capital, and any investment budget held by the government is used to build new automobile and airplane factories. Recruits are given proper training as opposed to the refresher courses most were receiving, which would inhibit Italy's reinforcements for at least a month. Almost a million of the 5.3 in service go back to training fields across the peninsula, with the best being placed into the Bersaglieri, Alpini, or Paracadutisti divisions. At the same time, many aged Italian bombers, which had achieved little, begin to be converted into dropships for paramilitary forces. The manufacturing base was still just a fifth that of the Allied powers, so Italy would have to make do with what they had. Tankettes, of which there are almost 500 still in the Italian army, are scrapped and their parts used either for M13/40s or chassis for Semoventes. The Italian army in general begins a massive reorganization, turning its binary divisions into triangular ones, severely condensing the leadership of the army. The Italian Supreme Command is reformed to be a copy of the German General Staff, and creates a single headquarter in Rome that incorporates the branches of the Italian Armed Forces. In most theaters the Italian armed forces would be slightly disabled, moreso because the new Supreme Command focused most of its efforts on a particular operation. Malta was first on the list of Italian targets. From it, Britain had been able to launch attacks against Italian convoys throughout the war, and Italy knew it had been bombed to near oblivion otherwise by the Regna Aeronautica. Using the Paracadutisti corps, Division Folgore, Italy launches Operation Herkules early and alone; The Italian navy, sans heavy ships, moves to divert British naval attention while nearly all of the Air Force launches from both Tunis and Sardinia towards the Maltese islands. Extensive planning had been done; Italian aerial mapping had given the locations of every fortification, artillery emplacement, and AA battery in Malta. ((This was actually done in preparation by the Italians for a proposed Operation Herkules, detailed here.)) Italy's navy has secured an assortment of ships almost as strange as that which had allowed the British to escape Dunkirk in the beginning of the war; multitudes of passenger ships, cargo ships, and motorboats, many with hastily equipped flak cannons. It would become obvious to Britain that this was an effort to take control of the Mediterranean before the Italians were utterly outclassed by the British, as many of the Italian Navy's light ships are stationed near the edges of the assault fleet to both defend the invasion force and act as bait for British ship-based cannons. The army sent over consists of 29,000 paratroopers and an amphibious invasion force of 70,000 supported by light armor and artillery, but it's apparent that much of it is at least slightly disorganized. Thanks to British codebreakers, the British can decide how they wish to defend the islands, and have enough time to possibly siphon troops from Egypt before the Italian forces arrive. They also learn that the paratroopers are scheduled to land on the Maltese heights sometime in the afternoon and the rest of the army to land just before midnight, leaving a little after sunset, and that there will be at least slight disorganization in the attack. As the invasion force moves out, four pre-war dreadnoughts are sent towards Africa to attempt to shell British ports, and two pre-war dreadnoughts are sent along the coast of Vichy France and Spain to attempt to shell Gibraltar. Finally, they learn that the invasion force is led by Chief of Staff Mario "the Black Beast" Roatta. Germany is asked for blueprints or leases to ship-based radar equipment and if Italy could purchase a license to manufacture that equipment themselves. -
I actually tried that, but for whatever reason it inverted one of the arms when it went from the file to the game.

APPLICATION Country: Italy Nation Leader: Benito Mussolini - Must be Historical; Can be Commander of Armed Forces rather than Nation Demonstrate Understanding of chosen country (Literally Look at Wikipedia for 10 minutes): Italy under Mussolini had vast imperial ambitions fueled by Fascist nationalism. "Il Duce" was the founder of fascism, and the Italians take pride in that. Italy is currently a police state headed by Mussolini and his Blackshirts, who, with his propaganda and cult of personality, prepares the country for war across the Mediterranean. - Things to keep in mind when writing (Troop count, resource pool, some weapons/technology) Alliance(Allies, Axis, Non-Aligned): Axis - Hint: LOOK IT UP IF YOU DON’T KNOW Status: Fighting, Allied with Germany - Pick one: Fighting [country], Neutral- 48 replies

The first point: Absolutely correct, and that's exactly what I put in the lore. They weren't separatists, they were just scientists on an expedition back in Aegis. Slight difference. Second point, if you read Supremacy's original mock-up that I linked that was what he had, and the only way I could see the reason the snow elves started in Anthos, which is what happened in game. Maybe they just missed Elysium and Kalos. After all, they're on a single boat, and Elysium and Kalos are archipelagos.
