  1. A small dark elf child holds up his Druidic stave triumphantly. The child holds a razor in his left hand, the stave in his right. He looks to the two items. The glimmering metal piece that shone in the glorious light, and then wood staves' head he'd carved beautifully and effortlessly into the shape of a young lady with long flowing hair that seemed to scatter down and form the stave in beautiful, careful strands. "What next for Quincy!" The boy cries out. He's eager. Excited to be a part of a family. Jameson and Sevitacus and Jen and Lilith and all the others. His old desire to solve his own metal disability has been overshadowed with the joy of the praise he's recieved, and the love he feels. So deeply connected with the world around him, as though the entire land was flowing into him and he flowing back. And all he can do to think of it is happiness. His disability keeps him from comprehending the true majesty of what he's begun to experience. And he knows this. So somewhere deep in this worldly realm made just for Quincy, he's still crying out for his mother and father. And he doesn't even know it.
  2. 8/10 You are clearly a well-known muffin.
  3. ((Why put the effort into wooing anymore :P )))
  4. Right. It's no single person's fault ever. Either Respiren or Syrio completely relinquishing all blame is ludicrous. In fact, I deserve part of the blame for starting the damn war. Best option is always to just be mature about it and not say anything or not respond or retaliate. If all parties practiced this, no one would care who is to "blame" and we could all move on.
  5. ((You could say the same about every single piece of land in Asulon. It will simply be gone; the Druids nearby have said they will grow over it and make it natural again.))
  6. The cloaked man sighs, shrugs, and walks off.
  7. "We have discussed it some already. I know that at least all the land that the Twilight Army takes will positively be offered to Renatus; so long as their leaders retain lordship over it."
  8. Hi flying dragon lady.

  9. Is roleplay is roleplay is roleplay that I made.

  10. "Anyone doing this is performing blatant impersonation. The Twilight's leader has said time and time again; he desires no bloodshed. Twilight does not have an army unfiorm of black either. Nor do we have any such battle cry." ((Sons of Iblees finally doing something interesting!))
  11. ((4. We carve it up and give it to Renatus as two or three new duchies. Solace will not go to Artharia, that you can be sure of.))
  12. "Purity is unattainable." He sighs gently. "Salvus does not have a reliable government. If we let it restructure itself, we risk yet another problem as horrid as the Ordinators and Dawn. If they had no desire for selfish power, they would surrender the city. Instead they drag on a war." He smiles gently under the hood. "God will see the wicked offered redemption and the good guided forth. But God's mercy only goes so far."
  13. ((I see polygamy is not illegal. Yay!))
  14. -reads it then continues walking- "Well that was very uninteresting."
  15. "Right... The murder of your Queen must have made the lot of you a lot safer..." He sighs, pulling the cloak tighter. "Whether it is my will or not, Salvus is on the edge of cliff. It will not take much to push it over the edge. The most loyal of Salvans, Botar and V'rol Goretag, have joined the Rubicon Legion. Now even they desire that Solace burns. Find sense in yourself enough to escape burning with it. Find compassion in your hearts for yourselves and flee. Salvus is not safe. Solace is not safe." The cloaked figure turns to the other speaker. "The same to you, my friend. God light your path, Horen guide your voice."
  16. ((Yet another well-constructed family House. If ever I find time in my arsenal of characters, I might look to joining :) ))
  17. A cloaked figure in the crowd sighs and raises his voice. "The Coalition desires to end Salvus for Salvus' sake. You may claim a million times that the Ordinators remaining hold no candle to evil, but I assure you many still do. They ignore their people, threaten and permit murder in the streets." The figure limps out in front of the crowd and turns to face them. "If you desire a peaceful existence, there is none to be found in Salvus. Flee to another nation. Salvus us dead, it has been for years. Godlessness and black-hearted slaughter falls upon their very Queen from her most trusted of men. Riots still pervade the streets. The population nearly all hates the Ordinators, and with good reason. They are still corrupt, murderous, and ignorant. Flee, Asulonians. Find a new home for yourself. Here is unsafe. If you surrender the city, the coalition will oversee the restructuring of Salvus government. They will not stop until then. We can not trust Salvus to govern itself any longer." The cloaked figure taps his walking stick on the ground a few times thoughtfully.
  18. The rebellion has already been attempted several times. We would need a Warclaim to successfully take Solace and the government. Due to the Warclaim system, the only way to take Solace is to first capture 80% of its land. If you desire to join the rebels, the Rubicon Legion is made up of them. It's currently led by Holm, but my character, Lorethos, is the actual commander. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/51017-the-rubicon-legion-wip/
  19. Sure. Be one of my banner houses :3

  20. So since you have eighty characters anyway. Why not make one more?

  21. My posting rate is 4.15 a day... God...

  22. "On the contrary, my friend." The cloaked figure turns to the other man. "We have all but agreed. Renatus will annex Salvus and Hanseti and recreate Oren."
  23. I am absolutely honored to be a part of the final nominees to the Asulon Improvement Committee. I can't tell you all how strange it feels to participate here. I'll get straight into it, though. I have been on this server for only a few months, and have experienced a large amount of roleplay from all different aspects of Asulonian life. My inexperience on the server makes a new and unswayed perspective available to me. A perspective that is not directly effected by the persuasions and opinions of some of the long-term members here. I do my absolute best to present problems where I see them and present potential solutions to those problems. My flexibility is a great asset of mine, however. I am not absolutely adamant or bent on making my point the only right one. The presentation of an accurate argument that makes obvious the fallacy of my own will easily sway my opinion on a subject; so long as it is grounded on facts and reason. I would also like to implement a petition system for the requested removal of staff members. If a person is disliked by a large percentage of the community, them being a part of the staff will only cause problems. I have made great efforts to help the player base identify the difference between IC and OOC. I do my best to orchestrate roleplay that everyone can participate in. I will admit that much of the time my in character actions are misinterpreted and I myself am called to blame instead of my character. I sincerely apologize for any distress I have caused anyone out of character; that was never my intention. The facilitation of roleplay through my characters and others is all I wish to give to the server. If we see a problem, we shouldn't continue to depend on the staff to solve them. We can solve them ourselves. My character, Lorethos, saw a problem, and aimed to fix it. He sparked a powder keg. Nearly all of Asulon is at war; and I'm sure many of you have experienced roleplay in regards to this war. While OOC conflicts will always arise (that is only natural when a large change comes about), in the end what we have done is shown those who have difficulty differentiating IC and OOC, and we have facilitated excellent roleplay for the server as a whole. OOC harassment due to IC actions must also be made against the rules. I know many others besides me have experienced it, and it is simply not fair. As part of the Asulon Improvement Committee, I would do my absolute best to motion for more player control and less GM control. I'm not saying get rid of the rules; I'm just saying that we need to learn to rely on ourselves rather than the GMs for every little thing. The Warclaim System, for example, is in obvious need of revamping. We also need to prevent small ghosttowns from springing up. We can do this with the development of roleplay that will cause the seeking out and destruction of empty towns (such as the ones recently abandoned by Seventis.) In summary; reduce OOC animosity with anti-harassment rule(s), help differentiate OOC and IC, solve problems ourselves, don't rely on GMs, and get the players more power over their server.
