The Seventh Mayoral Election of Felsen <>---------------------------------------------------<> <>---------------------------------------------------<> And so, the grand City of Felsen finds itself once again on the precipice of change. Our brilliant city has known many Mayors, and let us pray together that God-willing our newest sovereign of the City's function is as astute, diligent and wise as his predecessors. In the wake of the attempted coup by the dastardly Markese de Rolle, the entire City Council as well as the entire citizenship of Felsen have withheld their own nominations. In this time of chaos and uncertainty, we must have a man strong enough to unite us together fully take the helm. Running unopposed, and supported unanimously, Bradshaw 'Zaza' Gray is named Mayor of Felsen. Felsen Mayoral Nominations <-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------> <-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------> The City of Felsen once again finds itself suffering from a vacancy in the Mayoral seat before the end of the term. The dastardly deeds of the rebel and traitor Markese de Rolle, have thrown the city into disarray. However, as the coming days return the city to normalcy, we must not forget ourselves. We must have a Mayor. If you wish to be nominated for the position of Mayor, please deliver a copy of your with your reasoning for desiring the office, and any plans or ideas you wish to implement. Include anything else you believe pertinent to the election. In approximately two Saint's Days, or when nominees stop sending in their speeches, the voting will begin. Good luck, may the best man win.

Petition for Removal Edward Manston It has come to the attention of myself, and many other members of the City Council that Edward Manston has attempted to commit arson upon the Busty Bruxa, a rival establishment to what was once his own tavern. Despite his crime, his sentence has allowed him to continue to hold public office in the city. I, and many others believe that a man who commits such a heinous act of greed and debauchery should be ejected and barred from public office entirely. I consider Master Manston a friend of mine, but I do not believe having a convicted criminal present in any public office. Thus, as per the Charter of New Ancelcourt, we do hereby begin a petition to request his removal. Sign your name below if you concur with the purpose of this petition. Only signatures of Felsen Citizens will count towards the fifteen-signature goal. Citizens; 8 Niklas tau Roiye Ser Thomas Ashes Belthuun of Lorgesh Ak'var Bradshaw Gray Tancred de Soult Ser Abram de la Croix Roland Sparrow Non-Citizens Count Vitallius of Lewes

Housing and Taxation Piero Gradic and Niklas tau Roiye, reviewing the City ledgers, circa 1567 As approved by the Office of Imperial Stewardship and the City Council of Felsen, the prices for Housing and the rate of Taxation is to be established. There are three classes of housing in Felsen, each with approximate pricing based on the individual Stewardβs discretion. Market Stalls fall under their own category. Certain other properties may not apply under any category, in which case prices may be negotiated to a greater extent. Class A Housing; 2000-4000 Minas Class B Housing: 750 - 1500 Minas Class C Housing: 100-300 Minas Market Stalls: 200-500 Minas The rate of taxation is based upon several things, but most importantly the type of property; Class A Housing: 150 Minas per year Class B Housing: 100 Minas per year Class C Housing: 50 Minas per year Market Stalls: 100 Minas per year Having trouble finding a vacant House, or figuring out its approximate price? All Citizens shall now have access to view the Felsen Housing Ledgers. Here, they can see clearly which houses are vacant and which are taken, as well as where exactly they are. If a property has neither 'vacant' nor a name marked on it, its ownership status is unknown. Only the Mayor, High Steward, and City Stewards may sell houses. Mayor; Bradshaw Gray (Thatpyrodude) High Steward; Niklas tau Roiye (TangoIsPointless) City Steward; Brandon Sano (MaxGemini) City Steward; Arnorian (Hanrahan) City Steward; Vacant >>>>>>PUBLIC HOUSING LEDGER<<<<<< Having trouble finding a Steward to sell you the property youβre eyeing? Niklas nods at the proposal, "A fine thought, I vote aye."
-
Niklas bites his lip at the proposal, leaning back in his seat as he speaks, "Oftentimes the City Clerk is a temporary position, one easily changed at the will of the Mayor. Having the Clerk be the sole proprietor of the City's funds could be disastrous, should they desire to leave. Vote nay. Instead, I propose that we construct a vault with a combination known only to myself the Lord Steward, the Mayor, and the City Clerk. The combination changed each time any of the three vacate their seat."

Felsen City Census <>-----------------------------------------<> <>-----------------------------------------<> With the recent destruction of the Cityβs ledgers, the City Administration seeks to establish the infrastructure, tax system and resolve the issues so various and associated to the burning of the ledgers. Therefore, all citizens of Felsen, most importantly home-owners, are required to fill out this census. Those who fail to fill out the census after one Saintβs Week will receive an eviction warning, and given a short time to fill out the census before being finally evicted. The Sixth Mayoral Election of Felsen <>---------------------------------------------------<> <>---------------------------------------------------<> And so, the grand City of Felsen finds itself once again on the precipice of change. Our brilliant city has known many Mayors, and let us pray together that God-willing our newest sovereign of the City's function is as astute, diligent and wise as his predecessors. It has come to the attention to the office of Imperial Stewardship that the ledgers of the City have been sabotaged, burned in a vain and immature attempt to halt progress and damage the Capital's infrastructure and functions. As a result of the late Steward Cheshire Lovet and late High Steward John Roger's place in this most heinous act, the former shall be disqualified entirely from the election. Both shall be barred from holding official office in the City. Should they contest this, they shall be charged for their crimes, and compelled to appear in Imperial Court. As a result, Karl Fredrick Austratt runs unopposed for the office of Mayor of Felsen. Thus, he ascertains the seat by default. A young Orenian elf speaks to himself after reading the thesis, "Well, at least it's just a thesis from some uneducated fellow. I'm astounded so many people take such things as declarations of principle. Oren accepts all races, their faith is just a human faith."

Daniel III, on his pilgrimage in Aeldin, has already conquered the Empire and killed Horos, and thus John could not have done any of this.

"Now you're literally just twisting facts shamelessly. Duke Staunton was nowhere to be seen until some Courlanders were seen assisting dreadlanders bandits. Then the Duke comes out of nowhere and fights alongside an army of the stupid bandits against Carnatia. So the Empire went to help them, since dreadlanders are, you know, enemies of Oren? stop talking out your ass" Says Niklas, an angry peasant

The State of the Church This past year, a deep and dark corruption has been revealed in the Church of the Canon. Boiendl of Felsen and Svatabor Ivanovich, Cardinals of the Holy College, have plotted the assassination of the High Pontiff and the Emperor. When the High Pontiff declared his Revelations, the Cardinals attempted to use the contraversial statement to compel the Emperor to act against the High Pontiff. When the Emperor failed to comply with their ridiculous demands, Cardinal Boiendl attempted to kill the Emperor, after both Boiendl and Svatabor admitting to plotting the High Pontiff's death. We of the Church can only say that corruption such as this was expected from such factional, proud and faithless men. Decades of failure to perform their duties as Archbishops and defiance against the Immaculate Throne on nearly every matter could not have proved the faithlessness of these men, but it is proven now. Both men are henceforth laicized and Excommunicated from the Church of the Canon. The College of Cardinals has failed, once again. As in my revelations, the College is too susceptible to corruption and violence, faithlessness and selfishness. Such must be regulated by the absolute authority of the High Pontiff, and the Emperor. The Church is in great dissarray. Though a few new priests have begun to filter in, many have died, or left the clergy. Thus, the Church does urge the Emperor, rightful ruler of all mankind, to call a diet to discuss the reformation of the Church into a body that can function with greater dignity, efficiency, and closeness to Imperial directive. Cardinal Stephen de Beaufort is a wise man. His years of service to the Church did it great good, till he finally chose to partake in the Archchancellor position of the Empire. Since then his directives have consisted solely of assisting the Empire in matters of state, not of faith. We commend the Cardinal, and believe him to be doing GOD's work. He is clearly best suited to stately work, as we can see from his recent reforms. That being said, the Church has been ruled by bureacrats and politicians for too long. Not only this, but both we and many believe that the coming reforms to the Empire can only truly be accomplished through the great statesmanship of Cardinal de Beaufort. For this reason, the Papal Selection is altered, and Cardinal Georgiy Nikov is named the successor of the Pontificacy. Henceforth, I do abdicate this Immaculate Throne. God bless the High Pontiff, whichever name the Cardinal may take. I urge the lords of the realm to offer your support for Georgiy. Thouigh he is young and fresh, he is motivated, and wishes only to do good for the Church. Something we have been severely lacking of course. God bless the High Pontiff, the Emperor, and the Empire.
