  1. Please remove me from your group. I apologize, it is not what I thought it was. True knights, knights of valor and Valiance and charity and chivalry, do not involve themselves politically. ~The Wandering Knight
  2. ((By far my favorite clan with a great concentration of roleplay-conducive players and variety of characters! Long live the Bahr clan!))
  3. ((I'll be putting an application for Kael the Liar (Aka Allen the Arsenal) soon.))
  4. ((This looks very interesting~ Definitely conducive to some nice roleplay. Good job :D))
  5. What is your name? Lorethos Basileus, The Wandering Knight How old are you? I am visibly 30, technically 56 due to a certain magic. I do not desire to discuss this. Do you have a pure heart, do you wish to create balance? All I have ever desired is to protect the innocent of the realm from those of black heart, and do my best to aid those black of heart towards redemption. Biography[few sentences minimum]: I was born in Al'Khazar. My mother died of consumption, my brother from a duel, and my father from the undead attack. I left and never returned to the human kingdoms, they had destroyed what it meant to be a Knight. I protected Anora Minesmasher and served under High King Syrio for some time. I lost the Alrasians going through the portal and founded the Covenant of Sanctuary. The Covenant was meant to protect and aid the innocent an peace-loving people of Asulon. It has now dissipated, and I wander the lands with my blade and my heart breaking a tide of my strength against the shores of corruption and chaos. I have left out personal relationships, I do not wish to share those. Why do you want to join? I believe if the White Knights are restrictive enough in their membership, they can become a bastion of hope for all the people of Asulon. If they instill themselves with true Knighthood, the Code of Chivalry, to accompany their virtues, perhaps they can breath life back into Knighthood, and solve what the other nations have done to bastardized the title of 'Sir Knight.' Other Information: I will do battle with evil only if it is an inherent threat at that moment. I hold a blade well, and have connections nearly everywhere in Asulon. Hanseti, Kal'Dwain, Holm, Malinor, Haelun'or, Renatus, and so on.
  6. ((I think that being stubborn about a name with little relevance that could result in dire consequences is very distasteful. If there's a possibility at all this can effect LotC, it shouldn't even be a question about the name change.))
  7. A small dark-Elven boy runs up to the board with a razor blade and carves into the board, then running off. I AM A GOOD BARBER AND WILL MAKE YOU PRETTY AND I WANT TO BE A TREE BROTHER
  8. Anny, you never fail to troll in the most subtle ways possible! <3
  9. You have a right to feel anger. Go punch a pillow. Don't create unnecessary hostilities with blatant disrespect. Share your opinion all you want, with a cool head and fair words. Trying to pour gasoline on your neighbor's fire keep it from spreading to your house doesn't work. I apologize if you feel I am trying to tell you what to do. I am just asking you to be polite. Now let's get this thread back on topic. I feel as though ideas of any more races capable of doing things the current races can not do should be disallowed unless, as states before, it be by staff or staff selection. NekoDanie, for example, plays a character of extreme power, but that is permissible because they are a respected staff member. A member, or even a staffer who the rest of the staff believes is not a practiced enough to any and all role play powers properly, should not be permitted to.
  10. No one ever has a right to be rude to anyone else. Disagree as much as you want, but they didn't do anything to deserve hostility.
  11. Let's be friendly here... This is a fascinating idea, but not one I would like to see implemented. I am personally tired of remarkably unique or magically based characters with powers to suck in souls and kill with little to know damage to themselves. Descendents if deities, if implemented, should be strictly regulated. Very strictly.
  12. ((I'm likely not going to be present till a later time today, which in your timezone means we'll probably have to wait till tomorrow.))
  13. ((So long as its possible and doesn't completely shatter lore, it's a character choice.))
  14. "Poor woman finally has some proper help." Lorethos chuckles and walks off, tapping along with his stave.
  15. ((It says that above that my application was accepted and that I should contact the crew by Thursday. I did indeed contact the crew, but recieved little to no response, and the responses I did recieve were Rogash telling Kael to speak with or send a bird to First Mate Eagle. It has been eight days since my application was accepted and Kael has not yet been contacted In Character by First Mate Eagle. He had told Kael to meet outside Renatus on Saturday. Kael was there at the scene where the Damned Queen crew attacked the Renatus harbor. However, Kael was ignored by nearly the entire crew, and after being told by one of the members to meet Rogash in Hanseti, Volutional logged out and didn't log back on until much later or even the next day. This is becoming quite the hassle :( ))
  16. ((What is the method of recruitment? I mean, how do you respond to an accepted application once in-game.))
  17. You're one of the best roleplayers on the server. Don't ever stop being awesome. Also, bring Annerber back soon XD!

  18. When Lorethos gets stabbed in the stomach, the server crashes. He is clearly secretly an Aengul.

  20. Lorethos sighs and nods. "But I expect a yield to be accepted. Death here is not something I'd like to see if I can help it." He takes a few steps towards the man and turns around to watch the conflict.
  21. "I was... A knight of Oren..." -Looks of into the Distance-

    1. Lykos

*pulls a Bella Swan and remains completely emotionless for what seems like an impossible amount of time.*

  22. Lorethos' gaze shifts to Kvothe. He chuckles and waves. "It'd be nice not to be outnumbered. Doesn't really matter unless arrows start flying though." He smiles and nods in thanks.
  23. Lorethos waves his stave and smiles at the man. The smile is genuine though, and calm. "If you want to fight me, come down here and draw a weapon and you may proceed to do so. Fire that arrow now, and the outcome will be more unpredictable than if you were to lower it." At this point, Kael has crept back into the shadows after throwing his knives. Silent footsteps are unheard through the allies as he runs off. Lorethos stands alone in the dirt, his black and golden cloak flailing about in the wind. His verdant eyes held with that semblance of calm fortitude in the blue hazy hue beneath his emerald stare. "I will not boast at you some sort of melodramatics over shadows and metaphors about light and darkness. You are there, aiming an arrow at me. We are beyond euphamisms, don't you think?" He chuckled a bit, not a nervous or fake laugh either. "The girl is naive. She has waved her pride around unknowingly and will not do so again. Taking advantage of her ignorance will warrant my desire to take the necessary steps to challenge you to battle. You would not point off a cliff and tell a toddler there is chocolate off the bottom." He still had his genuine, slightly apologetic smile on. The wind, in a gust, rushed his lengthy hair back and the grey beneath the dark was more easy to see. He was aging, but his arms and legs were still strong. In fact, abnormally flexible and able for his age. The only thing on him that was still aged fully was his face. His body was lean and muscular and his heart and lungs powerful. There was nothing stopping him from taking on a challenge, but being so surrounded was not the ideal situation. He would not move, he was not going to let them do as they would with the girl. Lorethos Basileus was not going to violate that code of chivalry bestowed upon him. He was a Knight first, a Mage second. Another gust ran through his hair and he gazed upon the few whom he could see, his body prepared but his mind being sure to make it appear as though he was not. "My name is Lorethos Basileus. My tongue is sharper than my sword, and I'm sure we can participate in a reasonable spar with our voices instead of our blades. What better truth of wisdom is there than a man who would meet notes and words before steel and flesh."
