Pretty good, I'd say. Got into a good group of people, made some good pals, some good memes. To be honest if I had not met these people I don't think I would've stuck around for very long. So many people I talked with or just simply knew before were gone, some people just do not recognize me, some people I don't recognize either that maybe I should. Also I've missed a lot of events and new lore so over all it was just kinda difficult to get back involved but it feels good to be back. I miss having more people know me and knowing more people but ehhhhhh, whatever. I feel like I've sorta made up my own creation myth to where my username came from but I am certain where the duck part comes from. I'mma give you a bit extra for your answer but I'll get to it. I was 8 years old (I think) and I was making an account for Runescape because my sister and her boyfriend would play and I thought it was cool. I didn't know what to make my username so I thought of my favorite animal, which at the time happened to be a duck, my first name starts with a D so I threw that in there too for a bit of flavor and... boom, duckd8 It's duck-d-8 not duck-d8, I do not date ducks. Tl;Dr When I was midget child duck and made up my first username I liked ducks so I made it duck with a bit of extra thrown in the bowl. I will definitely say I'm an oldie, I can feel it in my bones. There has been no such thing that says any one duck is better than another. Back in my day I used to be the only duck anyhow and we liked it that way! Yeahhhhhhhhh... In all seriousness I haven't been around for all of the 5 years. I've taken a couple long hiatuses, the most recent one I had returned from like 2-3 months ago, as Ski refers to in his question. Besides Edric is basically a human in a high elf body that lives with and associates with orcs. Actual human RP spooks me deep down inside to think about. Missed you Jack Satan offers better heath benefits but my heart really is here. In all actuality it's not terrible. I'm not on too too often but it's a fun time when I do. Fun story. Galendar and I would talk years ago in Skype calls and his little brother would go to him just so he could hear me quack for him over Skype. Quack I've always just kinda tacked on the doctor to any name I'd be using online, dunno why I started that.. My original username is duckd8 so everyone would call me Ducky and I just popped 'em both together. I'm working on my education towards become a teacher, no real interest in the medical field. Who knows, why not another 5 years? Honestly I am not sure how long I'll be around but I don't see myself leaving anytime soon either.

I've been bored as of late. These memes were born of inside jokes, procrastination and like I said, utter boredom. With that said I found they were starting to pile up. I figured it was time to go beyond the Skype chats and share with the good people of the Forums. I think I'm a lot funnier than I actually am. Dawwww, danks. I vaguely remember remember that actually. In totall I'll reach my 5th year in 8 days, if you take out hiatus I've probably been around for like 3-3.5 years. Favorite Teuton memory? The Powerpoints! Just kidding. Under Mirtok, probably the dinners with mama Titania that we did weekly, I think. We'd get together and just kinda meme a bit in RP. It was a great way to bring everyone together and I loved it. Under Slice it was when we snuck into the North Antag area weeks before it was actually meant to be opened and saw everything. We all wore the same parka and even had code names. If we post our answers do you ask another set of questions because we've posted twice?

He was shut in, the door bared. A chest rested in front of it also, though it was probably not needed and it was trouble enough for him to move. The only window of the house was covered a small makeshift curtain and some planks pressed up against it. Edric rests in his home, bandages wrapped loosely around his head. A small trail of dried blood would mark the path his unconscious bod had been brought in by, spanning from the door all the way to his bed. After waking up he had tended to his wounds as best as he could by himself, making sure to stem the bleeding. His head would throb now though, like a giant fist was clamped over his head, squeezing it over and over as if it were some toy. He had made sure to snuff out most of the torches in the room, they did not help his head a bit. His lanterns he had either blown out or hid away where the light would not meet his eyes. A small amount of red would show through the bandage in splotches where the blood soaked through. It was a wonder that the other Keshig had not delivered him a death blow on the spot. His legs were slung over the edge of his bed bring his chin to rest in his hands, grimacing, both at the pain in his head and the painful memories of what brought him to where he was. "That should have gone differently... this place has fallen into some sort of chaos." His eyes would lazily scan over to the tall spruce shelf that shared the room with him, eyes falling to his favorite Mirtok action figure standing silent vigil over the still house. "This is all wrong.. I should have done more. I could have put up a real fight." He says, regarding the lifeless man staring endlessly at the wall. A loud grumble of pain would escape from the high elf as he stood from the bed and shuffled across the oak floor with the aid of his wooden cane, the only thing to keep his balance with. He would stop at the table and lower himself down into a seat carefully. He would now go to finally eat the dinner he had set out for himself at least an hour earlier, consisting of a loaf of bread, slices of apples and a now cool roasted chicken. ((Amazing post, absolutely loved it. The actual RP was great too and I know we're in for even more great stuff like this.))

Edric would walk out of his house and kick a bit of snow from the path, sending up a spray of the chilly stuff. He sets his hands on his hips, pursing his lips as he looks up and down the snow powdered street. "I cannot believe I am saying this... but I will actually be glad to be rid of this stuff." He would remain there for a moment before his face lights up with a thought, hands skittering to grasp at his bag. Digging deep inside through much useless clutter he finally manages to draw out his own personal Mirtok Action Figure. He would hold the mini-Hochmeister with both hands, one on each tiny but well crafted and hand painted boot. He would hold the figure to face him, going to address him. "Say Mirtok, what do you think of the snow?" Edric would ask in a respectful and formal tone, as if the real man actually stood before him. The man grumbles along with a few coughs before speaking in a slower, deeper and more gruff tone. "I say a little snow isn't going to hurt you. It is ugly though. Now lets go, I've presentations to draw up." With every word he would raise up one side of the action figure and lower the other, in the same manner a child would. As he does this his own head would teeter slightly from side to side. The high elf turns and makes his way back towards the door, before stopping dead in his tracks. He would look down at the small toy in his hands, narrowing his gaze at it. Does he have an issue? Is he not normal? Who knows? "What I do know I will be going to the feast tomorrow, most certainly." He would nod approvingly to himself, taking a few more steps toward the door. He would be all shifty eyes, throwing glances to his left and right to try to see if anyone encountered his unnatural dialogue. Once content that nobody might have heard he opens the door and heads inside. Needless to say the man had not returned to complete normalcy just yet.

Edric would receive a copy of the new codes, a luxury he personally requested and was happily granted. Now that he actually held them in his hands he gapes for a couple of moments within the confines of his home. It was the middle of the night when they were delivered to him, though he was still awake, fiddling around and doing whomever might know. Now it was dead still in his house and mostly quiet out in the streets and the world beyond his home's walls as well. He would let out the sigh of a tired, beaten and battered man. The days were too long sometimes but he was also too restless, he should be sleeping. He would tip toe across the bare but smooth oaken boards of his home, those that he laid down himself. He would stop at the wooden counter that acted to split the room between kitchen and everything else. He would purposefully let the book of codes slide free from his fingers, landing with a rather loud thump that would brutally beat back the stillness of the night for a moment before it almost seemed the sound was swallowed and the great silence returned. The drowsy high elf with his heavy eye lids would reach into his bag nearby and slip out his own personal and favorite miniature of the last Hochmeister of the Teutonic Order. He would set the hand crafted poseable action figure in front of the book, purposefully but carefully turning the head down so that his never faltering gaze would face the pages. Only then would Edric himself leaf through the pages himself. His head swivels to Mini-Tok. "You know what.. you take care of this and tell me about it in the morning, eh?" He would then creep away to his bed, flopping down carelessly to finally get some well needed rest. . . . Edric would be back on his feet again at the counter. "It is too dark... allow me. You must not harm your eyes, reading in this darkness.." Edric would pull a nondescript candle from the shelf, lighting as to allow his companion more favorable reading conditions. "Good night."

I was going to make a status update about the issue... but oh wait yeah, never mind.. These days are long since gone... it was different back in the day.

Edric would be wandering along down the road nearby a few days after the incident. He would come a dead stop, looking in shock, pursing his lips as he observed the wastes created by the explosion. "I wonder if a Space Mar- waaaait... I mean I wonder if someone in a TAC suit could survive walking in that giant frozen mess." The high elf would dig around in his bag, rummaging for a few moments with all the clutter he has inside. Finally he manages to drag out a hand crafted and painted Mirtok action figure from his bag, holding the mini Hochmeister by the hand. He would hold him up to juxtapose the small Teuton against the utter destruction behind him. Edric would close an eye, squinting as he would swing the figure from side to side, as a child would do to make it seem he was walking through the field. "Oooo.... aahhhh... bleh. Dead." Are the words Edric puts in the small figures mouth, turning him to face the ground and holding him flat in the air. "Me too Mirtok... me too." Edric packs away the late Hochmeister and turns to wander away in any direction but toward the destroyed city.
