*Earenniel tilts her head to the side at his reply and responds* My dear Mali'ker, we are chosen for the council based on our deeds we have done for our beloved Malinor. I for example was chosen because of my service as a Sentinel, much like Khel. I like to think I earned my place, as I did work very hard for it but I suppose I could be wrong in feeling that way. It is true that things are not done as they were once, but we are living now, not then. We have a new High Prince and with him comes new ideas and methods. Perhaps he should be given fair chance before his ideas are so strongly criticized. *Earenniel sighs rather heavily, and moves on to a different subject* Where you all would settle though is really not a problem at all. It is true that the forest of Elandriel is inhabited by the druids currently, but my offer to you is that you take up residence in Armaluna. There are plenty of available homes there and it would make a fine place for Mali'ker to settle and prosper. The island is mostly empty right now, and just waiting for a culture so rich as the Mali'kers' to populate it. Perhaps a meeting could be scheduled so you may discuss this matter and any questions you might have on the subject. *She ends once again, waiting for another response*

*Princess Earenniel cannot help but overhear the conversation. After listening for some time she decides to speak.* Mali'ker, I hear all arguments and all hold some truth to them, so let me express to you a council members concerns and opinions on what you all have said. First I will speak in regards to the business of Khel. I agree with you completely that he is a wise and able elf, and by far one of the best Sentinels I have. He returned to the Malinor guard only a few years ago, and has ascended the ranks at a pace almost unheard of and could one day even be high commander. This said, Bravepaw has these applications not to see who is more able to write a better application but rather to see who really wants to hold such a position of responsibility. To say that council members are selected purely on their writing skills could not be more far from the truth, and it saddens me to think that that is how my people think we earned our titles. If Khel wishes to be a prince then of course he would be considered given his accomplishments and personality. Now as for your reasoning behind nominating Khel, I agree that unity is of utmost importance. As of late I myself have felt that we lack the unity that our people so very much need. However, I do not think that simply placing a Mali'ker on the council will solve these problems. The first step to uniting is for the Mali'ker to return to Malinor. I know and understand that our architecture and culture is not adjusted for the Mali'ker and I wish to fix this. Come back to us, and share with us your beliefs and culture. Work with us so that we may help you re-establish a relationship with the rest of your kin, and us with you. *With that, the princess stands and waits for any replies that may come of her speech.*

*Earenniel eyes over the paper and mumbles to herself.* Dark elves hmm? In Oren though. How sad. Perhaps we could reason with them to join us in Normandor.

*Earenniel whistles for her sparrow and begins writing a note as she waits.* Vincent, As a princess of Malinor I would gladly assist you in providing as much information as I can about our great nation and the magnificent culture of our people. If you wish, we can set up and interview at a time that is convenient for the both of us. I look forward to our meeting. -Princess Earenniel *Just as she finishes printing her name on the page her sparrow comes spiraling down. She attaches the note to the bird and send it off.*

*Earenniel looks more than pleased by the child's answer. She is just about to go onto the gates when Seth approaches.* "Seth, you and I have something to discuss." *With that, she turns on her heel with the boy in her arms and leaves the crowd to fetch the sopping wet child some fresh clothes and a bite to eat.*

*Earenniel waits patiently for the child to respond with his final answer* "pay no mind to him. Let it be your own choice."

*The sparrow returns once again with yet another letter* If you would like to meet outside of the elven lands I will send a guard of mine to retrieve the diamonds. Simply tell me where you can be found. -Earenniel (MaddyKL)

*Earenniel looks to the boy with gentle eyes* "I shall not argue if you wish to go with this man to be with the High Elves in Haelun'or. It is your choice as to whom you wish to go with." *Looks back at Kalenz, returning his stern gaze* "You speak of this boy as if he is property. Let him decide where he wishes to go. If he wants to go with you then I will make no fuss, but he is the one who decides. It is his life to live." *With that, Earenniel waits for the boy's reply.*

*Earenniel sees a small crowd forming around the gate. As she gets closer she can see that there is a soaking wet figure lying on the ground. Curious, she walks over to the figure to get a better look. Realizing it is an elf child she kneels down beside the boy.* "Child, what has happened to you? This is no place for an injured boy. Come inside and I will provide a warm bed and new clothes for you." *Earenniel goes to lift the boy into her arms.*

*Earenniel walks over to the note and begins reading with interest. Her eyes fall upon the word "Diamonds" and a smile spreads across her face. She puts her fingers to her lips and whistles for her bird. As she waits for the bird to find her she takes out a quill and paper and begins writing.* Friend, I am very interested in the diamonds you have for sale. I would like to purchase all of them as soon as you are able. I can be found in the elven capital Normandor or I can meet you at a more convenient location. I look forward to hearing from you. Please send me a bird with your reply. -Earenniel *As she finishes the note and begins to roll it up a sparrow spirals down and lands on her shoulder. She strokes the bird briefly before attaching the letter to it and sending it off. Earenniel then makes her way back to Normandor.

*A poster hangs on the notice boards of various major cities and locations around Asulon* Fellow creatures of Asulon, I come to you all asking a favor. It has been over two decades now that I have not seen or heard from my dear fiance Orlanden. I fear that he has either been captured and is being held, or that he is already dead.
