It seems the comment has been strangely misinterpreted. Combat Magic no longer has a purpose, therefore it opens a door to new more creative non-combat magics. I am not saying this is necessarily good. I do not like that combat magic is now equal to the average brain-bashed swordsman.

When Oren left in mass Exodus we lost 5 or 6 GMs, Don't worry, this is nothing and we can and will recover from this. Danny may be gone but he will be a huge part of the strength of our survival.
