Though entirely unorigonal, I like this idea. This will put some actual fun to PvP for those who like it. You have my support, as long as you... well... develop it a bit more :P

*A folded up parchment wrapped in a golden ribbon is hand delivered to the frozen gates of the Mage Guild's tower. The dark-haired, yet fair Mali who bears the note peers with bright green eyes from under a fur-lined hood. He shivers under the oppressive cold of a wind that blows upon the peak. The letter is addressed to: 'To whom an aspiring teacher may be concerned'. Should the parchment be unribboned, unfolded, and read, it would bear the message:* Dear esteemed reader, I am one that may be called 'Cyrus' or as you please. If it really bears importance to you, I am a Mali no younger than one hundred and thirty years of age. I am writing to you as to acquire a position most honorable in an institution of knowledge such as the one that you belong to. More specifically, I ask to become a teacher of the Arcane art of Illusion within your fold. I am currently masterful in this practice, and am fully qualified to accept such a position should it be granted. I imagine there is quite an overflow of new applicants coming your way, but I hope you would take the time to examine my expertise and take me into consideration as a possible teacher. Perhaps an interview would be in order? Either way, I pray you reply with haste, for I am anxious to hear your reply. Wow, her story is incredible. A great read :D It makes me want to make a character page.

Yeah, hex has a good idea. This event (which is a pretty nice idea imo) could be also used to replace inactive structures with nature :D Perhaps the plants sometimes root within houses and cause extensive property damage?
