@hosper: Speaking as Ex-Undead here, it was only 2 gold ingots for a staff, exactly the same recipe as for hoes. However, we were the only ones who could craft them due to permissions (along with the Ascendeds, of course)

I'm pretty sure the gold block recipe was a rumor spread so that our followers would bring us more gold XD

Indeed, I though it was blocks too. If that was a rumor, it worked very well, because even the wiki said blocks at one point :P
