To the esteemed heretic Blundermore, whom was thrice expelled from the Empire of Oren for heresy and attempting to undermine the rule of Godfrey I and Horen V,
I was, in fact, the knight who had killed the worshiper. I have a few, if not many words for you.
You speak of wisdom and how that we should capture them and interrogate them. How do you propose we capture cultists and worshipers who kill themselves when captured, or somehow summon their comrades to preform near impossible feats to spay their captured comrade? I do recall the Ascended and the Aeriel-worshipping cult that surrounds them causing the death of not one, but three cultists by demanding the capturing party, reputable knights, hand them over and threatened their false god Aeriel's wrath upon them.
One can not seriously expect your word to be taken seriously when you openly defied imperial law concerning magic, in the very halls where the Emperor Godfrey set forth his decree. You attempted to fill the imperial halls with former Ascended, who acted for naught and caused the destruction of Aegis, and usurp the Emperor Godfrey.
You are upset you didn't get the glory is all, and you think your kind is the only one capable of interrogating and capturing these cultists, when it is entirely likely they are independent or know nothing. You are useless and get in the way. What might stray from my point, yet I must ask all the same, how does a human live over three hundred years anyhow? Are you another witch such as the Witch-Queen Dawn Perea?
With warm regards,
Corbett van Cleef
