      I've been on a number of role play servers where minecraft PvP was not a thing in the slightest and then some where only PvE was recognized. Then there was one that allowed minecraft PvP for skirmishes and battles. LoTC is the first I've been on where PvP is accepted for IC conflict as default and I firmly believe that its detrimental to the role play of the server.
