You make a rewrite to bring in new players. You make a rewrite for 'publicity' as well. It also allows you and the community to interact and see what aspects of the lore are obviously not making it so popular if it's a dying type of magic.

That usually happens because people either get bored with the magic or lose any real conviction for it. If you see a magic floundering you can either reinvigorate it with a re-write or just sit back and let it die. Getting mad at the people who use a magic but have no real conviction to keep it going is just..well blame the users for its failings.

What magic specifically are you talking about? People tend to complain about circle jirks because they see friends teaching friends magic. There's a reason for that. Most people won't teach someone else a magic if they hate their guts, who would want to? One of the first things I look at is the players personal character, rp comes next. Not too sure that's what you're referring to but just putting in my 2 cents.

I mean in general. Ask for gifs instead.

@drfate786I'm not an fm anymore, but maybe just maybe you've considered that we were just following orders from higher up since we were getting so many comments and complaints from new and old players alike? Food for thought

I'm just getting ptsd, I was an fm the last time and it was like full red alert whenever a raid went down or a battle.

I haven't been a part of a raid in over 4 months and I'm perfectly content. That being said everyone has their kinks, can't have one without the other though. Pure pvp as we saw on april fools day was a joke. 100 people on the rp server while there were 10 in the pvp. RP leads the way, but pvp may follow.
