As the Islamic Caliphate's armies march into Africa, a meeting containing all heads of ((NPC)) states in Africa takes place in Johannesburg, out of harm's way. The meeting is relatively short, lasting only one hour before a consensus is reached. The President of the DRC is the first to make a press announcement to his people and the world.
"People of the Congo, of Africa, of the world. Today I announce a historic decision that has been made by me and my African peers. In the face of the insatiable and ruthless aggression displayed by the Caliphate, we have as one body elected to form a coalition to counter this external threat to the independence of all African peoples. We would like to stress this is not a unification of our states, but is instead a necessary step needed to be taken to preserve our own lives and countless traditions that the people of Africa have kept for millennia.
We invite the AFRIKAN COMMONWEALTH and SOUTH AFRICA to join us, for our security and theirs.
Africa will not fall to the Islamists today, or ever."
As the announcement is made, troops and armour stream North to the front lines in the millions, coming from Malawi to the Congo to the Western Sahara. The remaining west African States push up into Morocco with a force of 300,000 troops supported by thousands of modern tanks, artillery and aircraft. Over 2 million troops move into engage the invading force in Ethiopia, supported by armour and the airforce. Furthermore, some 1 million troops move through the Sahara and into Tunisia and Algeria, and although they suffer some losses to attrition, they get through with the majority of their force.
In all areas, the Caliphate forces are being pushed back, and yet more African troops are mobilising and heading North.
