I agree with what he's doing, but filibusters are silly and useless when you can just stay up there saying random **** to prolong the legislation. If my understanding of them is complete, which I know it isn't.
I know. But, it's fruitless, when they can just go vote on it the next time they are in session, right? What does it achieve, other than 'I can talk for a long time.'
