Upon the decisive victory at the Battle of Westmark, the Duke, Aleksander Staunton, now no longer bed ridden, once more places on his green and black armour, taking his bow, shield and waraxe, mounting atop of his steed. He rides for Riga, to speak with his men. "We march for Courland, our home, our freedom." he shouts to the collection of his men. "We have got one of them, the last Barbanov. Let us ride to wipe of the rest of them, and capture Jan the Jester. In the last battle, we lost only a few brothers. The enemy are hurt, they are down, let us kick harder this time, and ensure they know with whom they deal." With that, squadrons of men geared up, ready to continue their war effort, inspired that their Lord is able to once more join them in the field of battle. Black, green and grey banners flutter in the wind, as the Stauntonite army push on to reclaim what is theirs. They tugged huge siege weapons across the snowy northern plains, the army amassing below the steps of the former Stauntonian fortress. "These Vile Vanirs will be forced out, one way or another." remarks Captain Khavold, 2nd LT of the 1st Stauntonite battalion, as he watches the men prepare. "We assault at first light." says the Duke, as he retires to get some sleep before the battle. WARCLAIM DETAILS Type of battle: Siege Time: Saturday, the 18th of June, 4PM EST Attackers: The Duchy of Courland & Allies Defenders: The Orenian Empire Location: TERMS OF VICTORY Victory for the Attackers: All Carnatia forces are killed or forced into an underground compound at which point, they would be considered unable to defend the keep. Victory for the Defenders: All Courland forces or routed or killed from the battle site. REWARDS Offensive Victory: The Kraken’s Watch region is ceded to the Courland, and they are given permission to continue the war with a skirmish for Gryphons Hold. Defensive Victory: Kraken’s Watch may not be sieged for a month. A counter skirmish may occur. RULES - No status switching. - All LoTC Rules - If the Coalition do not show then the region shall be automatically ceded to Courland, and they may force the time and date of the next warclaim. - No one day alts

The once mighty Lord brought to his knees by the combined forces of just about every other non Courlander. It it took him over a year to come to terms with such a defeat. As he sat in his cave, he pounded his fist upon a table, littered with small military figures and empty bottles of alcohol. "No." Says Aleksander. "They wanted this fight. Now it is time to give our all, let our actions to follow be a true test of Courland's metal." With this, the Duke placed his green and black armour on once more, preparing his scattered banners to once more bare arms in his name, to remove his enemies from his land. As word of the Duke's return got out, thousands of men flocked once more to defend his name, the hardy Courlander's thirsty for vengeance. They rode to meet the remainder of the Coalition forces for the battle of the river Westmark. . TERMS OF VICTORY Offensive Victory: All Coalition forces are routed or killed. Defensive Victory: All Coutlandish forces killed or routed. REWARDS Offensive rewards: Courland is permitted to continue their war effort and siege Krakens Watch. Defensive rewards: Riga may be warclaimed in a pillage. RULES -No status switching -If the Coalition forces do not show to the battle, it is forfeit to the attackers. -All LoTC Rules apply -Rolling to capture leaders.

In the year of our Lord, 1561, let it be known throughout the lands that the Aesterwaldian Halfling / Farfolk Gospel Choir has been formed. As devout followers of Harringtonism, as founded by Prophet Ford Harrington, when God was revealed to him in the sewers of Felsen. The Church is against violence. The Prophet Harrington realised that Religious Experienced could be induced through the use of, what the Church deems to be, 'holy white powder'." The Gospel Choir rejects the God of Canonism and the authority of the Church, seeing it as a political power created for the purpose of attaining money, rather than a religious power. The Church of Harrington, however, believes that religion should not play a part in politics and should not be incentivised by money. All donations to fund the expansion of the Church should be sent to High Prophet Ford Harrington. The Church regularly patrols the streets singing the Gospel of Prophet Ford, baring arms against everyone who opposes them. The Church favours violence.
