      The classic example of an "edgy," someone who backflips in fights and uses katanas.

      Being serious, though, most people use the term 'edgy' to mean one of two things. 1. A character that is a 'special snowflake,' but often a cliche special snowflake. Characters based off of Ezio from Assassins Creed are a good example. 2. Anime-based characters. Those are the katana-wielding backflip ones. Edgy characters are almost always assassins.
