  1. Wait......I wanted this to be a playable creature like TheGlassPrincess' Byrophite lore. IS that where I would go to do that? Or am I not allowed? I'm sorry I'm new to submitting lore and dumb. I want Ver'Kan to be playable, if possible. Sorry for being annoying.
  2. I thought so I just didn't know. Sorry. I'm tired.
  3. The Ver'Kan, an ancient race native to The Isles Of Axios, are a race of tree/plant-like beings, similar to Ents but smaller, that have been awoken from the Descendants' impact on their homeland. Dwedmar mining, Mali'Ame mingling with nature, Human and Orc war. All of these have awoken this species. Attitude: The Ver'Kan are a relatively peaceful race. They see no purpose in violence. However, if brought to it, they can defend themselves using said violence. They will typically not pick fights, but rather stray away from them or try to prevent them. Appearance: The Ver'Kan are distinguished by gender. The men are usually a dark green with darker wood and lighter eyes, while the women are the opposite: lighter green with lighter wood and darker eyes. Some elder Ver'Kan can be red in color as well. Their 'crowns' are wood helmet-like items that can be stylized to an individual's liking. Their body is made of plant with a wooden chest, acting as a body and armor. This pattern is found throughout their arms, body, and leg: Wood and plant together. They can vary in height, ranging from 5'5 to 7 feet tall. To go with their designed helmets, their wooden body/armor can have different designs on it as well. Strengths: Ver'Kan are half wood, thus making them resistant to such things as arrows (As long as the arrows hit their wood part. If the arrow were to hit their exposed plant, it would injure them to a certain level, depending on where the Ver'Kan was shot at.). Swords and axes would have a hard time cutting through, but can and will cut through them. Warhammers can smash the wood into them, but would take lots of force to do so. They can, depending on their size, pick up being by the throat and such. This would also vary from race to race. Orcs, they cannot pick up. Dwarves, they would struggle with. Humans and Elves, they would be able to lift up. A single Ver'Kan is capable of cracking a wall, if enough force is put into the punch. Weaknesses: Being made of wood and plants, a Ver'Kan's worst enemy is fire. If ablaze, a Ver'Kan immediately runs off to the nearest water source. Once in the water, they would be there for several minutes to recover and heal. Another weakness is the integrity of solid objects. If a stone is too hard, their wood could possibly crack, causing them to retreat to a nearby area of forest to heal by nature. Another weak point for this species is their heads. If any threat to their heads comes into play, they will go away from it, unless their helmet has been crafted over their face. Religion: Ver'Kan can basically learn an religion they want, but the most common is Canonism and Aspectism. Most likely, Ver'Kan learn Aspectism. Lifespan: Ver'Kan can live up to 600 years. After 600 years, their body slowly begins to deteriorate. The wood would slowly turn gray and start flaking away as the years pass, as do the plants, until eventually, around 650 years of age, their bodies turn into ash and become one with nature. Also, as they age, their plants would slowly fade to a orange-red color. Creation: Ver'Kan can be created in two ways. They can be summoned from trees and plants and nature, or normally birthed. (I know this most likely wont get accepted, but I just wanted to give my personal idea for lore to LotC. Thanks for reading it anyways, if you do. - GW) (Also, I couldn't find an appropriate ref pic for the species, so I just made a skin)
