If someone marks themselves as a messenger they should be able to return with reinforcements after an hour and join locked combat.

It takes like five minutes or so for someone to make there combat emote and get a response. It also takes about five minutes or so to do what is essentially riding on horseback to another country, rallying some minute men, and riding back to where they came from which is absolute bullshit time scale.

I mean not a perfect solution because someone could still just delay for hours, i've had to deal with someone absolutely refusing to RP and just bitching in looc for 4 hours before, but i absolutely think that a reasonable amount of people should be able to join after a reasonable amount of time. Like maybe 4 people (on each side) an hour after the close of the initial combat lock.
